Could the barrow mound also come in desert, swamp, snow, and rocky? Same placeable just with different roof textures. That would cover the main terrain types.

Like all of them, particularly the shrine on the right.

I could, but, based upon how it is constructed, would those coverings make sense? Maybe a snow cap; not sure about sand, rock, or swamp mud though.

Well yeah, for real world barrows. But this is DnD, where the barrow could be a building that was built long ago and purposely buried to stop ancient evils, or the always useful "a wizard did it".rjshae wrote...

Thanks. I'd like to do one with a drow/spider-ish theme as well, but I'm still searching for a good prototype.
there is a drow pack on the vault for inspiration or expansion - very spidery!

One of the NWN1 modders is getting things from there, like the Creature from the Black Lagoon.

I've been slowly working on this in the background, while other projects have taken priority. Something I'm doing right now is porting more placeables over from some of the NWN hakpacks, with a preference toward higher poly, larger texture models. In addition to Kamal's link above, a potential source is the 3D models area in the OpenGameArt web site. Much of it appears to be CC licensed with .blend files, so it should be adaptable to MDB files. If you have an interest, you might have a look at that site and see if there are any candidate static placeable models you find particularly interesting. Just look in the Browse menu for 3D Art. (Just stuff that would look decent in-game please.)

These are the ones I found that looked like they could fit in nwn2.
