Do you use the Punisher on any classes without accuracy or rate of fire bonuses?

On casters I can't shoot everytime the whole clip or be super careful and shoot 8 shots at a time, and if I don't I'm not getting the max number of AP shots.
On weapon kits there are better weapons.
I use it only on my turian soldier, on him it's better than hurricane.
It might be good even on the destroyer or HM kits, but I like the typhoon on him, and as for what concerns the geth, I feel they gain more from shotguns (wraith, piranha, raider)

I'm interested if anyone has come up with any builds or ideas as to how to overcome the issues the weapon has without the obvious accuracy/ROF bonus kits. I looking to hear some creative, outside the box ideas, like what FTL said. His Kroguard build can charge its balls off and put the gun right in enemy's faces.. that's a good idea, and what I was looking for.

I don't care about your percieved shortcomings of the weapon.. if you don't, them fine. I understand your decision, the Punisher is certainly not the best option, and the Hurpdurpicane is always going to be superior... This is common knowledge.

First of all BPP is not inferior to hurricane vs armour.
Second, the BPP has not any issue, it's the mechanic of the gun: if you don't fire 8 bullets at a time you're not going to use the BPP effectively, this is objective, not subjective.
Accuracy/rof kits are used as weapon platforms and sustain fire, thus they gain the best of it.
Firing it in short burst does less damage than the tempest, and using the heat sink is generally a bad idea as you don't know how many shots you'll get.
To use it effectively you need a kit that can sustain fire for 4/7.2 seconds, unless you stop firing everytime you hear the AP shot (= fire in burst of 8 shots).
Basing my choice on this I'd suggest you these kits:
Volus Mercenary http://kalence.drupa...!!..M54314!DEEA
Human soldier http://kalence.drupa...3O54314!D.AAGG
Awakened collector http://kalence.drupa...34M54384!F63A02
EDIT: there's another thing to consider that can "open" a new string of possibilities with the gun, I'll post it in a couple of minutes.
****
Okay here it is: if you consider that to make good use of BPP you have to shoot bullets 8 at a time, and the BPP rof is 600 that means one AP round every 0,8 seconds.
If you use a character with a spammable power every 0,8*X seconds you don't have to hear the AP shot as you recast the power as soon as you can using that as a stopper, without losing anything.
Example:
http://kalence.drupa...!33M54363!E3E6G
cooldown of his powers is 2,41 seconds, that means 3 ap shots every power cast, once you fire the first 24 bullets (with 3 ap shots) you have only 16 remaining, which are 1,6 seconds, add the reload cancel (0,83 seconds) and you have almost 2,41.
power-shoot-power-shoot-RC-power-shoot...
Perfect timing.
A bit extreme I know, but if you want to overcome the "BPP problem" here is a way.

Used it on a flamerless vorcha soldier with disruptor ammo with carnage set for max damage/armor damage and it works fairly well, though I still hate vorcha and mildly dislike the BPP.

Well, with the Sentinel/Soldier you're likely to be at pretty short range (e.g. within flamer range) a lot of the time - accuracy is somewhat less of an issue then
Besides, Vorcha Sentinel, BPP + SMG Power Magnifier V ... 30% extra Flamer/Cluster Grenade damage?! Mmmmmm tasty!
