According to some spoilers, a PC will be given the red dragon quest if he build the church in CK and if he is a Paladin, Cleric or an evil character. Then he will find a Holy Avenger when he slay the dragon if he is a Paladin.
Well, should a level of Paladin work? Or should Paladin be the highest class or the highest standard class?
For example, if he is a, say, Favored Soul 10+/Paladin 4, will the quest be given? Can he find the Holy Avenger?

If you have a paladin level, you're a paladin.

My Pal 4/Fighter 4/Anointed Knight 8 was able to get it, but it's not really worth getting.

I usually give it to Ammon Jerro. He does not use it as a weapon but SR 24 is good.

Spell resistance as an item property is bugged in the game. It only works for the first spell cast at you, then gets ignored for all subsequent spells unless you unequip and re-equip the item.

I've seen SR items working properly on some PWs... don't ask me how, but it's fixable. Same for other supposedly unfixable item properties, like darkvision.

the idea behind a fix, is recalculate SR whenever items are put on or removed, and apply the SR as an effect, like a spell effect, which isn't bugged.

spells are good. That's basically how the fix is done, turn item-SR into spell-SR
racial SR should be good too ( as long as it's done by an 'effect' and not a 'hide' )

SR from shapeshifting is bugged as well (the "hide" thing kevL mentioned, I think).

Kaedrin's PrC Pack should fix party members. The Impossibility Adjustor (see .sig) ought fix monsters (only those that use the standard spawn script tho, and it's courtesy of REERON altho i've elaborated ), even if all values [ in Difficulty.2da, courtesy 3miLy_raNgeR .. ditto] are flattened to zero.
