Having ordered the Collector's Edition but it will arrive a few days later than the release date because you ordered it from Amazon.com and they don't have an optionf or delivery on the Release Date.

That's my definition at least.

Amazon has Release-Date Delivery unless you're shipping to a APO/PO Box, Alaska or Hawaii, or out of country. And if you're a Prime member you often get free upgrades for big name games.

Kind of the same thing. I ordered from GS and thought I could wait for standard shipping. About a month ago I tried changing to express but no dice.

Try calling them? I did that with BestBuy and they changed mine to express from overnight, never done preorders from Amazon though. Just a thought.

Amazon has always got my release date deliveries to me on the release date. Even when I ordered 1 day before the release date. I am a Prime member but even if you have to pay for shipping you should be able to get it release day. Go to your amazon account and check on the status and upgrade the shipping option. Amazon is a champion online retailer I'm sure you can change it.

Amazon is pretty good with orders in my opinion. I got my modern warfare 2 a day early.

I pre-ordered from Amazon and I had the option for release date delivery. Whether or not it actually does get here on release day is a different story >.<

I think the Mass Effect definition if depression would be living in a Scandanavian country right now if you ordered the CE. Poor guys

You can only pick Release-Date Delivery when you first order the item.
