What would you like to see added to classes in a way that makes them feel distinct and fun to play while adding variety?

I'd be more interested in swords but chakrams are awesome too!

chakrams don't really work the way they do in Amalur. they are more of a "flying Frisbee of death" kind of thing. I would like crossbows to return as possibly a ranged warrior spec, I like they idea of being a human Panzer.

I'd like a quarterstaff or polearm option for warriors.

The brass knuckle knife things that the Ray Winstone portray of Bors used in that ill-fated King Arthur movie.  Would be great for a combat heavy close range rogue.

I'd like more variety for Rogues in close quarters combat. Instead of just daggers, add things like Neko-Te.

Return of the Spirit Warrior specialization? Or maybe something similar?

I mean something like a Warrior or a Rouge maybe making a deal with a Benevolent Spirit (like Hope or Order) to use the Spirit's power to make themselves stronger, like a Spirit Healer would use the spirit's power to make their healing stronger?

I was thinking of a "fencer" type class, for a rogue that leans towards warrior, something that relies heavily on dexterity but doesnt need stealth and is in your face, something like that would fit the Orlesian theme of the game.

Chains, whips, orbs, harps, lutes, flutes, claws, fans, cards, tridents, boomerangs, what else?

I was going to make a terrible Rihanna joke when I saw those first two.

What would wind spells entail? Control of space and positioning? Tornado summoning?

Arcane archer spec for mages where you charge your arrows with spells to give them different effects.

A hand-to-hand combat skill tree for rogues.

I want a Maelstrom spell, like in DD.

I absolutely loved the Magick Archer spec in DD.

I'd rather have more utility than another AoE nuke. Maybe make it a banish like Eul's/Claws of Tornarus.

I would like to see more counter spells and many more staves with rune slots like Final Thought and Sting, etc,. And some spells for non-combat like "unlock door" and "find object"

Then you just need a lightsaber and shoto, and then we'll be all set!

Fourth class.

I've proposed making the Archer its own class, separate from warrior OR rogue, so that it isn't a specialization of either. It in turn could have specializations like ranger (animal companions), arcane archer (uses enchanted arrows), sniper, etc.

I like an unarmed warrior archetype - let's avoid the word monk and all the setting problems it creates - but something akin to the Spirit Warrior of Awakening, yet truly fights unarmed all the way, using nothing but spirit-powered fists and spirit-enhanced damage avoidance. Of course, it could just be a warrior spec- or mage spec. Were it its own class, I could think of lots of specializations, particularly a dragon-flavored one.

OK, can't help it, but as a big fan of Bard's Tale, would love to see bards as their own class, NOT a rogue spec, with songs that can buff, debuff, possibly do other things. Plus they get to use special magically enchanted musical instruments that, well, do stuff. They could bring back the bard as a rogue spec and still do this, but maybe not without doing a major reworking of specialization ability trees....

... it's not being done in DA:I, we know this already, nor do we seem likely to get a fourth class mod, so I'm just spitballing, perhaps for those currently conceptualizing DA 4.

why do people want whips? they are the most inefficient tools for killing someone ever. especially if said someone is clad head to toe in heavy armor.
