'Banish' spell - essentially removes target from play, friend or foe. Target is unable to attack or be damaged, and clears threat. Force Field from DA:O was supposed to work like this but it didn't clear threat, and it created collision around the spell target.
Ice armor - Targeted ally or self receives bonus armor for a period of time, and enemies who attack this target suffer a penalty to attack speed.
Entropic bonds - Afflicts randomly selected enemies within the AOE template (number of enemies afflicted can be governed by spellpower). A percentage of the damage inflicted on each enemy is shared among all the others
Retribution (Templar spec) - Curses selected enemy. Each time the enemy casts a spell within the duration, they take damage in proportion to mana spent.
Mana Burn (Templar spec) - Enchants the Templar's weapons. Each attack drains mana from spellcasters, who receive a percentage of the lost mana as bonus damage
Electrocution - Over a duration, target is ravaged by muscle spasms that occur in 3 second intervals. Each spasm causes the target to receive a small amount of damage, while also stunning them for a short period.
Empathy - Upon targeting an enemy, any debuffs--or buffs--that they currently have are shared with other enemies within an area of effect.

Daggertail all I WANT !!!
Just kidding, that would be stupid in this game...
What I really want to wild a one handed weapon and nothing else effectively... We have seen it in a lots of film like LoTR, Hobbit, Game of thrones etc. Yet we raerly if ever see it in games...
is that what you meant?

doesn't change the fact that nunchaku are for show or at best there to amplify hand to hand fighting like jabs and kicks. I mean why use a weapon that is just as likely to hit you as your enemy? and don't spout off that nonsense about a master doesn't hit himself. Traditional English longbows outclassed crossbows and early firearms but do to the years of training and experience to be able to use it effectively they were replaced. ease of use is what defines the best weapon. the spear, the crossbow, the rifle. the best modern example of simplicity winning out in the arms race is the AK47. Flashy **** like nunchakus and whips were almost never seen on battlefields and thus shouldn't be included in any game where your character isn't some kind of martial arts master.
Master Archer
Shield Mastery
you have to learn and train with every medieval weapon even a crossbow(just less than with bow)or a spear(and any other polearm)
i dont see any problem with knife attached to rope and spinning around with it

I'd like to see the return of a Scout-type specialization or character/companion. They have a mabari or some other type of animal. It's not summoned like the old spec from origins, but rather a more constant companion. The abilities in the spec tree would increase the effectiveness of the pet, and allow the two of you to coordinate attacks and so on.
like in DAII with Varric but instead of Bianca specialization tree there would be pet tree

Mages need a death ray spell.
death ray:death ray kills weak enemies outright, while survivors suffer a massive entrophy damage.
100% critical chance
10x basic damage
100%ignore armor
penetrates trough enemies
but thats too OP
but we really need more evil magic
like necromancy (new specialization)
it could be like better entrophy
summoning undead, using souls of fallen enemies to recharge mana or force them to attack others
killing someone using death ray that will left just bones behind(and then you will turn them into skeleton)
or using taint to increase your power, twist opponents soul between two realms(weakness to magic), etc...

i can almost see that undead party in action
also pray would be good
praying for Maker (but he isnt listening)
praying for oldgods(they are listening)
maybe defending them from darkspawn and then receiving bonus as theyre champion

so not golem but rock wraith;)Filament wrote...
I think having a golem with some profane qualities would be cool as a companion class. By profane qualities I mean, they have the ability to morph their body into different shapes to attack with, like a shield and flail, or a giant bowling ball, etc.
they can form
in DAII one hunger demon possesed a stone
so if you want something like that you need NECROMANCY again
but instead of inserting soul into prebuild golem or corpse(bones) you will give it into pile of stones creating
rockwraith:devil: and if the soul will be from someone loyal to Inquisition(i hope we can join Venatori too)and we somehow keep his mind intact then he will be able of conversation, fighting and even forming and still be loyal

But I meant self control as in, the ability to not attack anyone on sight.
Well, if they could make it work, then sure, rock wraith companion* pls.in DAII one hunger demon possesed a stone

Fourth class.
I've proposed making the Archer its own class, separate from warrior OR rogue, so that it isn't a specialization of either. It in turn could have specializations like ranger (animal companions), arcane archer (uses enchanted arrows), sniper, etc.
I like an unarmed warrior archetype - let's avoid the word monk and all the setting problems it creates - but something akin to the Spirit Warrior of Awakening, yet truly fights unarmed all the way, using nothing but spirit-powered fists and spirit-enhanced damage avoidance. Of course, it could just be a warrior spec- or mage spec. Were it its own class, I could think of lots of specializations, particularly a dragon-flavored one.
OK, can't help it, but as a big fan of Bard's Tale, would love to see bards as their own class, NOT a rogue spec, with songs that can buff, debuff, possibly do other things. Plus they get to use special magically enchanted musical instruments that, well, do stuff. They could bring back the bard as a rogue spec and still do this, but maybe not without doing a major reworking of specialization ability trees....
... it's not being done in DA:I, we know this already, nor do we seem likely to get a fourth class mod, so I'm just spitballing, perhaps for those currently conceptualizing DA 4.

I was very disappointed with the Archer tree and it'd be nice if it was given it's own role instead of a tacked on afterthought.

maybe
in future (it would be easy for programators, and also for game designers so they dont have to crate whole new tree and balancing it so it wont be OP)we can use twohanded tree

can someone show me a real world combat whip that isn't just a flail with a really long chain?
but i found urumi

but persian one looks like
(Indiana Jones style whip)and it used to have spikes on sides so it will puncture trough skin and when you will pull it then it will rip flesh and leave bloody wound add few more strikes and your opponent is dead but it needs heavy end to keep direction(or it will be like spinning with rope) this is only video i found (when he is fighting with air he looks like idiot)but he isnt even able to make that specific sound with it(thats caused by end of whip that will get over speed of sound[so you can see its effective] creating small explosion, just like with airplane)
plus those persian tricks;)(and i forgot to mention that whip was also used in china, but it was mostly way different from persian whips)
