Can someone explain to me what exactly is so scarry about Chuckles, the well armoured human zombie? Or the Genlock Green Gremnlin?
I prefered them because they looked closer to their 'parent' races then they did in DA 2 (minus the Ogre). Genlocks may have looked like Gremlins but at least they looked similar to a dwarf, the Genlocks in DA 2 Legacy (especially the Genlock Alphas) looked more like gorillas or baby Ogres then dwarves.

What are your thoughts on the previous redesign and do you think there will or should be another one?
I have to say every time I see the part with the Hurlock in the above picture I chuckle quite a bit because all I can think about are the Goombas from the Mario Brothers live action movie. That being said, I think the idea of the change for DA 2 was a good one, but the execution was a bit poor. Genlocks were pretty cool, but Ogres and Hurlocks were much better in DAO IMO.
The Da2 Darkspwan looked like deforming ninja's I think they looked more creepy in DA:0

I'm sure we will see them, even if only briefly. Perhaps we have to go into the Deep Roads for something, or perhaps we will pass by a DR opening on our random travels somewhere. Hell, even in Asunder there is a minor encounter with darkspawn.Zanallen wrote...
I would rather we not see darkspawn at all in DA:I. They are terrible enemies.
They're also good random-encounter-in-random-area-death-fodder-enemies

As to my predictions on Inquisition's route? Well I wouldn't be too sure, but my eye's on either a:
1) An updated version of the redesign models, with corrections- where criticised to be appropriate.
2) An amalgamation of Origins models and the former's, with the redesign's features taking president.
I'd be happily surprised, however, if they decide to go back completely into Origins line of view.

I'll take DAO's pseudo-orcs over DA2's putties any day.
I'd be way more down for putty darkspawn IF we could colour code our companions and their armor into combinations of red, white, blue, black, green, yellow and pink.
Don't worry, they're getting there.

IMO, the Green Gremlin looked nothing like a dwarf. But even if we say that it did, the Ogre wasn't even within the same stratosphere as the qunari. If anything, you traded look-alike ogres/qunari for unlike dwarves/genlocks, and so you should be indifferent between the two on this reason.

I agree with you on the ogre vs Qunari thing in Origins, in fact I actually like the Qunari redesign in DA 2, as it makes the Ogre = Corrupted Qunari element make sense. Though i do have to wonder why Bioware went wth a 'baby face' ogre design when the one in Origins looked much more intimidating.
