Would you pay for an online component of DAI?

After the release BW /EA comes out with an online DA component where you you can take your character (not your companions) just your Inquisitor to a special level that you have to go online to play.
Lets says its after the events of DAI and you have to clean up the left over darkspawn and demons that got left on Thedas.
While there you can meet other players and even team up with them like a MMORPG and take down these left over baddies.
The catch is, that these events online have nothing to do with the official world of DA but its just a place to go play and show off your character and so forth.
Would you be willing to pay a monthly charge for this? Or does it not interest you at all.
And for the sake of argument you can go back to your Keep in DAI to store and fetch equipment/gold/potions and that sort of thing any time you like.

Personally, I play BioWare games for the stories and characters, come on here to talk to people and 'show off' character etc etc.
...surely you can guess what most of the answers are going to be...

Id like that idea if the players were Grey Wardens going into the deep roads for their calling so regardless the players character will die. The deeper into the deep roads you get, the harder darkspawn get and more there are. Not worth a monthly payment though, more DLC material
That's a damn good idea.... POINTS for you.

I know and I agree. Just an exercise in curiosity.

I have never had any interest in MMORPG-like game elements, and I am not seeing any reason to develop one. Also, I play for the story and for experiencing the world. Increasing the combat/story ratio has less than zero appeal for me.

Please tell me you are not getting paid by ea to do a survey on this rediculous money grabbing concept.

This is a very cool idea.
As to an on-line component though, if it has nothing to do with the lore and doesn't affect the single player game, I wouldn't be oppoed to it. I personally wouldn't be interested in it though.

1. I hate having a game with online play just slapped on for the sake of being online to appeal to a larger amount of players which is what EA have been doing a lot of times, for me it should make sense and fit into the game well.
2. I am very anti sub if you pay for a game especially if it's single player focused, in mmo's it can mean more regular content so take or give, personally i do not buy games that require sub, i did long ago on very rare occasions and it's not because it's expensive or anything but if i pay a sub fee each month then i would like to make the most out of my money which would obviously be playing the game a lot every month and i can't since i like to switch between games pretty often so it seems like poor value for my money personally.
All in all i don't think i will even buy the game, EA's track record regarding release buggy messes and slap on half assed mp is worrying for me and i don't like to support such a publisher but if they would suddenly change then it would be another story, short version- treat me well as customer and i will be a returning customer, should be obvious really so time will tell.
