No. DA has always had a very personal appeal to me. I've come here, chatted with other fans of Alistair, Zevran or Varric or any other of the companions, but in the end, it's 'my' game, and I like that personal feeling. I wouldn't want to 'share' the game experience (though I like showing off in the threads here the different PC's I make), but when all's said and done, I prefer keeping my characters separate from the 'online' experience of an MMO.
Especially if I had to pay monthly for the 'privilege'.

No.....but say for example there was an online area, and real money had to be involved somehow....then i'd rather it be done the same way as Mass Effect 3. Y'know, include the multiplayer section on the disc for no extra cost but just charge people for item packs (that are still achievable ingame, it just takes longer. So folk who want stuff asap can get it and folk who can't afford to spend more money can ignore it).

It's cool but I'd rather not.

A Dragon Age subscription multiplayer would be a waste of time and resources with Elder Scrolls online coming out.
I liked the Mass Effect MP (it's really the only MP I've devoted a significant chunk of time to) and wouldn't mind something like that, but I would always prefer more single player content over any MP content.

I would pay for a multiplayer game but would not pay a monthly fee. I would rather it be like ME3 multiplay and let you make purchases if you wish as they add content.

No. I would not pay for or use any online elements. If I am forced to, I will simply not buy the game. I will buy SP DLC or expansions, vanity items such as a pretty pretty dress, etc...that is all.

As a part of the maingame, as in it evolves the character, world or story even the slightest bit, hell no.
As a standalone, no consequence thingy, then probably still no. I'm not much for abonnement systems.
If BioWare were to create a MMORPG set in Thedas as standalone game, then just maybe if it's good enough.

The problem with mp games and co op is basically it no longer becomes your game. I mean now your enjoyment depends on another. At least when I am playing these games by myself than I can enjoy it at my pace. There isn't the wait for someone to answer their phone or take a bathroom break or something like that. You decide when to do these thing . Also if you playing with someone and they are one of your party members than that interaction that you would have with them is no longer there. You might have a person or kid yapping into their mic or with music blasting in the background.
My answer is NO. I don't want it. Let BioWare focus on a Awesome single player rpg and leave the nonsense for another day!

I wouldn't pay money to play online, not even if I could use the character I used to beat the game.
Obviously, I like the characters I create, but when the game is over, so are their stories. I would not consider plunking them down in a MMO environment to be continuing their adventures. I'd consider it to be meaningless grinding using a known skill set. If I were that on fire to continue playing, I'd make a new character and run the single-player campaign again.

More often than not, playing with other people destroys a good game. So no I doubt I would pre-purchase any such expansion.
However, if they left it as a free 2 play model, I would likely give it a try. Then I would subscribe if I enjoyed it. This is basically what I did with The Old Republic. Tried the free 2 play version. Loved that I could play the whole game without needing other people and fully subscribed.
I would probably play many more "online" games if they didn't require you to actually group with people to play through them.

I would debate paying extra for such a component to NOT exist in the game.

Absofreakinlutely not.
BW/EA got my money for DAO and DA2 and expansions.
They came through with one and let me down with the other. But DA2 was so bad that they are on their last chance with me. If DAI doesn't give me somewhere near the level of enjoyment I got from Origins, I'm done.
So, additional dollars for some nebulous online arrangement isn't even on the radar.

No, I am done with monthly charges I got suckered into World of Warcraft and regret it looking back at all the money I spent on it. If it was a one time purchase such as DLC I will say maybe for I would need to know more before making a decision.
