What this person is suggesting is paid MP, this is different to ME3.

True, but if you think the reaction would be much different to a thread asking if people want multiplayer at all, you'd probably be wrong.

Ok say that you get DAI and its all great and dandy and overall it makes you happy.

After the release BW /EA comes out with an online DA component where you you can take your character (not your companions) just your Inquisitor to a special level that you have to go online to play.

Lets says its after the events of DAI and you have to clean up the left over darkspawn and demons that got left on Thedas.

While there you can meet other players and even team up with them like a MMORPG and take down these left over baddies.

The catch is, that these events online have nothing to do with the official world of DA but its just a place to go play and show off your character and so forth.

Would you be willing to pay a monthly charge for this? Or does it not interest you at all.

And for the sake of argument you can go back to your Keep in DAI to store and fetch equipment/gold/potions and that sort of thing any time you like.

If this happened exactly as you described, no impact, however minor on SP AND it got through EA's online component requirement and got the 'Multiplayer Enthusiasts' to quiet down, then hell YES!  I would absolutely not pay for it, I detest online gaming.  But it this were an option that left the single player experience completely untouched, I'd cheer them on every step of the way.

Well, I get the feeling that a lot of people are paying extra for the Heroes of Dragon Age app game, I'll admit I paid a bit more then what I wanted. If it is for MMOs I guess that would make some sense, but if it is for consoles then I'll say no. I don't want to promote Greed over Gameplay.

Once? Maybe. If it's worth it. Monthly? No. It won't be worth it.
