If people would pay for DA online there would be no need to force multiplayer component into a single player game.

So no, I don't think I would.

I would actually be more willing to pay extra to have no multiplayer content.

Ok say that you get DAI and its all great and dandy and overall it makes you happy.

After the release BW /EA comes out with an online DA component where you you can take your character (not your companions) just your Inquisitor to a special level that you have to go online to play.

Lets says its after the events of DAI and you have to clean up the left over darkspawn and demons that got left on Thedas.

While there you can meet other players and even team up with them like a MMORPG and take down these left over baddies.

The catch is, that these events online have nothing to do with the official world of DA but its just a place to go play and show off your character and so forth.

Would you be willing to pay a monthly charge for this? Or does it not interest you at all.

And for the sake of argument you can go back to your Keep in DAI to store and fetch equipment/gold/potions and that sort of thing any time you like.

Absolutely not. I hate mmorpgs and hope there is no online component of DAI and if there is, that its completely separate and unrelated to the single player campaign. Mass Effect 3's multiplayer ruined enough with the whole Galactic Readiness crap, don't need Dragon Age to wind up the same. I'd rather all those resources get put in Inquisition's single player campaign and DLC down the road.

For me it's an easy "NO" to this idea, but there is one possibility that I would be okay seeing this type of feature.

In Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, your character can amass a fleet of ships and send them off on voyages. The end results often return furnishings, trinkets and items to "decorate" your home base.

This could make for an interesting online interaction that didn't slant the deck against players who chose not to participate online, only to see hundreds of threads in forums extolling the virtues of rare armors and weapons that made the console gaming experience so much cooler but that could only be acquired by doing an online component. And it would still provide rewards for those players that opted to participate in such a paid function.

I doubt I'll play it if it's free either.

I totally would!...not. Yeah no thanks to the MMO idea. Also, to the above poster (I can't quote on my phone), Kenway's fleet was free (or at least I'm not paying for it and still use it). Just need a Uplay account which is free.

Considering the last game I played that featured an online component was GTA V, I doubt I would pay for it, especially if its a situation where you need Inquisition to run the game. GTA V is broken as a game because of the online portion, I hope Inquisition doesn't suffer that same fate.

In a word No.

I would be over the moon if a construction set is released and we could make/play modules.

Considering the fact that I refuse to pay for xbox gold membership, the answer is a resounding "EFF NO."

I would gladly pay for it, but only if it came with hats.

Hats and glitter. hats and glitter.
