As I was browsing through D.A. character profiles created by members of the community I had noticed that a description of the "Most powerful foe slain" was one of the feats listed under the available statistics. This prompted the thought that there may be extra opponents, aside from story specific enemies/bosses, which are created solely as player challanges. It would be exciting to have these monsters as an achievement-type accomplishment and I recognize that other RPGs have done this. I was wondering what you guys think.

Well there always sidequests and extra monsters... there have been in BG, even in Planescape Torment. And with DLC added etc, you will likely get hardcore dungeons and monsters later for the super DA enthusiast :)

Most Powerful Foe Slain: Nug

I will go out and kill a nug and then take a screenshot of my character's sheet just so that may be immortalized.

Worth noting that Chris' level 22 dwarf that has likely seen most of the game's content has a High Dragon listed as his most powerful foe slain.

I would imagine dragons and pride demons would be at the top of the list, indeed.

I was wondering is that who this dwarf belongs to?

I wonder what they base power off of? Just a challenge rating of sorts?

Edit: DeviantJoker, on the top of the page hit the 'persona' button and it'll take you to the character's owner. Which in that case is indeed Chris.

Don't see the reason for it... probably something I'm missing. I'd just assume the strongest enemy in the game would be story related and everyone would have to kill it making that stat a bit redundant. Curious.

Ah, great. I'm still learning all the in's and out's of this site. I guess I should just go and start clicking random buttons fearlessly

It likely has to do with what was suggested above:

That there may be really epic, legendary monsters out there for you to potentially kill that you don't meet during the main storyline.

I assumed that was one possible outcome - were everyone just had the final boss listed as their most powerful foe slain - I'm hoping the stat wouldn't be such a waste. It would also be cool if the game were to list the difficulty next to the enemy (in respect to the stat), or like others have said - an enemy level. I also realize that no matter if it were the final boss or another opponent the majority of people would eventually come to kill it as information regarding strategies and optimal character builds spread. However, it would provide a challange for those who like to power game.

I'm thinking this will be more in line with what the BG series did in terms of providing stats for each party member like number of kills etc and which was the most powerful that particular char had managed to land a killing blow on, so you might have for example, Morrigans most powerful as a high dragon, and your PC's most powerful foe killed might be the arch demon, while Alistair's is perhaps an abomination, and so on

I had considered that thought, but I don't think that will be the case. It could be, though.

I'm thinking this is most likely correct.

Looks like Chris was playing in normal difficulty mode, based on the small amount of friendly fire damage dealt.

I think that dragons (as the name says) will be the most powerful oponents

My profile shows '0' in the stats for Most Powerful Foe Slain but it you look at the Characters Details link it shows the same stats except now the Most Powerful Foe Slain is the Revenant, which for me at this point is probably correct. (I've had to cheat killing two dragons in two different locations of the game so hopefully the game might sense this and disqualify those kills.)

BUT, why has the initial stat screen never registered the Most Powerful Foe Slain from day one? This is my second play-through and the stat still remains '0'. Thanks.
