2 Questions about DA Redemption

I know it was originally a free webseries. Is there still a way to see it free online, or must you pay for it?

Does this story occur before MotA, or after, or does it matter?

1.) The whole series is on Youtube. So yes, it's free.

2) The story occurs before Mark of the Assassin, but it technically doesn't matter.
