How would BSN answer the questions asked in the so called biowares closed group meetings!

1.) Prequel, Sidequel, Sequel & Alternate Universe. [sequel; overwhelming]

2.)  What does N7 mean to you? [what kind of question is that]

3.) Two races to exclude from the "Next Mass-Effect" [wtf BW are you having budget constraints?] for the good of the series I hope their answers where not selfish!. (the true meaning of the question would be what races would you want your next squaddie be or less likely be). coz no you cant just delete a race in me verse.

What do you mean selfish? The questions were meant to prode for what those people wanted. Of course they would answer with what they wanted, they were supposed to.

Edit: English, much hard, so wow.

My answers:

1. Sequel

2. I'm also not sure what that is supposed to mean. I'd give the lore answer, though I'm not sure if that is what they were fishing for. That question needs clarification.

3. I'd rather not see any excluded. If I were forced to choose however, I suppose I'd go with Vorcha and Drell. The Vorcha didn't serve much of a purpose in the Shepard trilogy beyond cheap cannon fodder. I like the species, but they aren't necessary. Also canonically the species isn't space faring. The Vorcha you do run into were either transported off their homeworld by other species, or are their descendents. As for the Drell, I also like the species but according to the canon they are rarely seen outside of Hanar space. Unless elements of the next game are set in Hanar space, they also aren't necessary.

IMO it makes sense to cut two species who you'd be the least likely to run into anyway.

1. Sequel.
2. Arnold Schwarzenegger in Predator.
3. Batarians unless they decide to actually flesh them out with a squadmate and/or story arc. Vorcha.

1.) Sequel or AU (either of these two work for me)
2.) Nothing important, seeing as Shepard, Anderscum, and Kai Leng all held that title.
3.) Sadly, asari is probably a lock for the next game, so I won't waste my vote on them: hanar and drell.

1) Sequel or Distant-Future Sequel that's practically an AU.
2) Branding and fan recognition / socialization. In terms of the story, N7 means next to nothing to me.
3) Geth and Drell. If the geth don't count, then the vorcha, I suppose.

1.) Sequel

2.)   An elite human combatant.

3.) Vorcha, since they're a joke race, and geth, since I think they've been done to death.

1.) Sequel

2.) N7 doesn't really mean anything to me beyond what it stands for in the games. Kind of an odd question.

3.) The Hanar because I've always found them to be annoying (though I appreciate the attempt at a non-humanoid alien species) and the Batarians.

Hehe, did you watch my video :P

The third question, I think, has been heavily misinterpreted, though I can see why. What they apparently did was show a lineup of the main races and asked members of the audience to pick and remove two if they absolutely had to. It's like asking "what's your least favourite, which do you care about the least".

I firmly believe they asked this not so they could whitewash Krogan, Quarian, or whoever else from the entire game universe, but were instead prying to see which species would be most viable for player characters. I strongly suspect Mass Effect 4 will not just have a human protagonist, but also let you pick two or three other species, similar to the way Dragon Age: Inquisition is set up. In a perfect world every single major species would be playable, but this is not viable taking into account the massive cost of time/money/testing on BioWare's end. So how do they work out which major species (this is what they asked, not minor species) to focus on being playable, and which to focus on being secondary???

Simple: Ask the fans which two are the least favourite and which, if they had to, they'd remove. If an overwhelming majority say "Remove Krogan" that does not necessarily mean Krogan are flushed from the entire game universe, story, secondary characters, side quests, major quests, or anything like that. But it does lower the priority of making Krogan playable in the single player campaign, in favour of making other, more popular races optionally playable.

I have a feeling that if they do multiple options in the next game, they'll probably stick with the four council races.

I think that is fairly safe call.

If there are multiple playable races I'd bet on either the four Council races, or the Council races minus the Salarians, with the Quarians being playable in their stead.

I remember some cool red shirts with the N7 logo being on the Bioware store a couple years ago. They sold out very quickly and were never seen again.

That's all I've got. N7 doesn't mean much beyond this cool shirt that used to be for sale. They're just some Navy SEALs-like elite group that every military has, right? Not like they're not Jedi or Spectres.

1. Alternate Universe, or at least nothing that has to deal with Cerberus, Reapers, or Shepards.

2. Hoodies!

3. I would exclude at least the Drell as the race has almost zero impact on the entire Mass Effect universe.

As for the N7 question: they probably intended the N7 logo to symbolize the ME franchise. It is actually a very cool logo with just the kind of understated recognizability that makes it appreciable both as a symbol and a piece of art. I really like it.

The problem: if the next ME game doesn't feature an N7 Alliance spec-ops soldier as the protagonist - and I think that's a safe bet - then it doesn't have any meaning any more, which raises the question if they can still use this very cool logo nonetheless or if they need to create a new one.

I would like it if they found a way to continue to use it nonetheless.

There are ways to make N7 work without the PC being active Alliance military.Court-martialed out , resigned, even undercover. I don't see any way to make it work with a non-human PC, though. Not that I have any faith that option's actually on the table, mind.
