 Anybody else start reading them?

I just started with the first one yesterday and am a little over half way finished. I think it's very interesting and very well written. It's really cool to find out more stuff about the Mass Effect universe too.
Anyways, I would highly recommend the book to anybody who loves Mass Effect!!!:D

I like Ascension better than the first novel.

I just didn't care for the depiction of Saren in the first novel. He seems to be such a psychotic brute that it detracts from his earlier characterization in Mass Effect. I also didn't much care for Captain Anderson being essentially the horny dog that he was.

Ascension was just awesome and I wanted to see more of the Quarrian culture.

I bought them all as a christmas present to myself. So far, it's made me appreciate the game more and what the Devs at Bioware have to keep in mind as they progress through each game segment.

I like the first one better, but the second one was also very nice (a bit boring in the middle, that was the only problem). And as you can see in some on-line shops, there's a new one coming! It's called "Retribution" and it's supposed to arrive in July. Can't wait!

Writing juvenile. Universe expansion intriguing. Worth reading. Would not recommend to non-players.

I'm reading revelations now. I've already read asascension and it was great. Any real Mass Effect fan needs to get these books in order to really apreciate the Mass effect universe.

I read them after playing ME1 :D

I liket the first more. First becouse it's the prequel to the game itself, what was Anderson's little affair with Saren, and how Saren "get" Sovereign...

The second was good, and made the ME universe richer but somehow I felt thet Kahlee Sanders become some superhero :D Didn't felt right, she was waay too perfect (I play as full paragon but I think my Shep wasn't that good :D )

Writing juvenile.

Personally I thought they were great reads. Not exactly mentally taxing, but a fun diversion while they last. Kind of like an episode of the A-team. For video game spin-offs, they ain't bad at all (unlike others I can think of *cough* Halo *cough*).

Can't wait for the next one.

They're great for adding depth to the game's universe, even though they're hardly literary masterpieces. Nice light reading while waiting the next game to come out. Reading Retribution and speculating how its content will indicate what ME3 will have in store is going to be interesting...
