Goes to show that even after (too) many hours of gameplay, the game can still surprise you. I thought I’d try the Volus Adept out for a change. He never got much love from me as I’d tried him before and spent my time rolling down ramps, and friends generally agree he is useless. Well, he’s become my new favorite kit for a laugh. Support class? My (cl)ass. The lowest I scored with him on Gold was 99k, highest was over 150k. He dishes out decent damage from cloak and the stacked damage increase from Biotic Orbs is just delicious for everyone. Fantastic tech/biotic detonators too. Even easily survived Ghost Acid Rain with him just bouncing off walls with his one-shot-kill health.

Obviously I bring him fully loaded with max amps and CSMG with Incendiary IV because even Biotic Gods need a little help and I’m not a godly player. And Geth scanner is a must as anything creeping up on you is a death sentence. But even dying with him is fun: that death roll takes the pain away.

So if you don’t feel the Volus Adept love, try him again. He’ll grow on you. <3

He has Stasis which is the best power against Phantoms. He has 45% Debuffing Biotic Orbs and Shield Boost when needed. I wish all my teammates were Volus Adepts.

FTL and Argent's builds are better than mine. I foolishly spent 4 points in fitness out of habit for obviously nothing. So ignore my build.

Not entirely related, but I been enjoying mercenary lately. I like him, but decoy is kind of underwhelming on him. Any good build would be appreciated.

Very classy avatar FOP ! I love it.

On topic, the volus adept is an excellent teammate and has a great survivability, yes. But he is sitll my least favorite adept, mainly because he can't trigger any biotic explosion against armored units.
Also, Biotic Orbs suffer from off-host issues.

This is the build I use most of the time.

If you'd like better weapons then go with the Wraith/PPR/Harrier/Talon/Hurricane/etc.

I meant he sneak kills in that cloak does not break when you fire. Should have said sneaky damage.

 Yesterday was hydra, glacier, and one was white I think or two..but I don't think I saw you, would have remembered ..is your GT the same?
