I will say that (and not to fully correct you) Clint mansell, although a great guy, what you are thinking of is Sam Hulick.  he did the main orchestration to the Clint mansell pieces, and a great composer.  I talk a bit with him, he is super awesome.

why thank you!  this made me feel good inside! Yea, Tides is one of my favorite "speedy improv" compositions.

Cool, but just to be sure, Sam Hulick is behind the main theme orchestration and all the other clint mansell tracks ? It s not very clear in the credits ...
