 So from my understanding, there is no way to obtain the Recon Hood (and other promo items) legally? Does that mean that EA/Bioware have given consent for me to torrent these?

I mean just go through the forums, people clearly want them, and the only people who can provide them is Pirates who will give it for free. What a stupid circumstance.

The Recon Hood? I have it in Mass Effect 2 and 3. I didn't bought this game new. I haz all of the DLCs, and so, yeah. You might want to check in what DLC it comes in...didn't even know it was a DLC.

I assume by your sig you're playing on PS3. The Dr. pepper promotional items along with the collector edition items were given out in the Recon Operations Pack for Playstation users. Sadly, 360 and PC users don't have access to this DLC.

EDIT: Just doing a brief google search there seems to be a way to force it with gibbed: http://social.biowar...ndex/9776690/17

Be warned that Bioware has stated they take no responsibility if something breaks when moding the game.

Wow, something that PS3 actually wins at, but it's minimal. Anyways, the Recon hoody isn't all to die for anyways...

Seems I should learn to read better. Even though I searched for ME2 it took me to posts in the ME3 forum. I'll get back to you if I find any way to do it with 2.

I'm going back and playing ME2 again for old times sake and messing around with texmods this time on PC and would love to have the Recon Hood but can't seem to find any way of finding it. Noo bools or mods that I've seen yet. Anybody know of anything?
