Normally my Shepards wear the Kuwashi visor. Mostly this is for aesthetic reasons, not because I am good at head shots. Nevertheless, when I do get head shots it is nice to know I am getting that 10% bonus. So what happens to your headshot bonus when Shepard is forced to wear a breather helmet (like on the Collector ship)? Do you still get the bonus? Or does it go away for that mission?

I believe the Kuwashi bonus disappears and you get the N7 Breather Helmet bonus (+10% health I think?) instead.

Sounds like this should be tested. I assumed you still got the headshot bonus and didn't get the health bonus.

I try to foresee which mission you have to wear a breather helmet and change to one that gives me the bonus I want, like weapon damage instead of health.

I just found out that you will get the breather helmet bonus rather than the visor bonus. I just did the Collector Ship mission and looked at Shepard's health. It was 20 points higher than it should have been based solely on upgrades and passive bonuses.
