I'm really also hoping the leaked names are a stand-in because they just don't roll off the tongue like "Hawke" or "Shepard" do. I can't really imagine a loved one saying, "I can't stop thinking about you, Cadash...!"
I dunno, just sounds weird xD

I hope they never tell us what country the human is from; let us decide where the Inquisitor is born please BioWare.

The two remaining dwarven cities both loathe each other and this refuse to acknowledge the others laws and paragons. I believe house cadash was around before the split of the empire and this would be a paragon house that both cities revere. Perhaps we'll ed up uniting the dwarves once more?
That would be awesome.

That aside, the names do look promising. Trevelyan sounds very Orlesian, even if he/she is not a native of Orlais. Adaar probably hints to something within the Qunari ranks, Levellan sounds like the name of the clan the Elf Mage Inquisitor came from and Cadash is a fallen thaig.

I do hope the Warrior and Rogue last names are different for the sake of different origins. Such as the human Rogue once served as a bard in the Orlesian game while the Warrior human was a chevalier (just examples). Would hate to see the Warrior & Rogue get the same origin...
I think it's going to be that way for every race.
1. Human warriors/rogues
2. Human mages
3. Elf warriors/rogues
4. Elf mages
5. Dwarf warriors/rogues
6. Qunari warriors/rogues
7. Qunari mages

Actually, I'm pretty sure Gaider came out and said the Inquisitor would not be an Amell (It was awhile ago, before multiple races were announced I think,)
All I know is I wish we could pick the origin country for our Inquisitors.

Considering that the dwarf Inqusitor will be a surface dwarf, I doubt either city will be willing tio give the Inqusiotor the time of day.

Doesn't that depend on how you handled Orzammar in Origins? Like, if Bhelen is king and you helped get the Chantry there/took that dwarf girl to the Circle I would imagine Bhelen would be willing to talk.Cyberbobmkii wrote...

The Warden also re-opened Kal'Hirol for the dwarves which is something I imagine would benefit both cities.

Trevelyan sounds more Ferledian than Orlesian, it's not a french name at all like Du Puis or Dumar.

I suppose Orzammar might be more open with Bhelen, but Kal'Sharok still has no reason th listen to anything the dwarfquisitor says. And as for Kal'Hirol, if I'm remembering the epilouge cards correctly, Kal'Hirol was claimed by House Helmi. So Orzammar would recive the benifits and Kal'Sharok could only get them through them.

Trevelyan is a real life Cornish (related to English) name, so it's most likely a Fereldan name.
Or maybe a Free Marcher name.

Well if it turns out to be a Marcher name it could play into my Kirkwall starter theoryMevenSelas wrote...

That seems a bit difficult to do in practice though, given the accent problem. And multiple origin countries on top of class and racial choices would only expand the amount of content that needs to be designed, developed and tested.
If choosing an origin country was just about picking a box and then roleplaying it in your head then that's one thing, but if people started expecting significant amounts of unique content based on that choice, then it might be much harder to do properly. They're already spending extra time to make the game react to your racial choice, so adding the option to define an origin country could be just too much.
