Ever since Playing the Phoenix Vanguard and Phoenix Adept, I find it hard playing the Normal Adept and Vanguard in sp now. It isn't as fun. So, is there anyway to, transfer the abilities and melee attacks of the phoenix characters over to SP?

So..you're not all that bright then? You realize that this request is far from breaking the rules yes? As it effects offline play and not multiplayer?

No. Melee is supposed to be lame and stupid in SP.

I believe I may have a link to a thread about this bookmarked on my PC at home. I'll post it when I get home.

Hmm, on that topic, any way to make explosions work in SP like they do in MP? My engishep feels so... ineffective compared to the multiplayer HE.

That was a joke, dude.
And yes, it is totally possible to mod SP kits and give them custom (MP) powers. There is a thread about how to do it somewhere on BSN.

If it was then I apologize. Didn't seem like it.

Would love to know where that thread is.

Don't they already? I could swear I was detonating Fire explosions with Inferno grenades+Chain Overload on my last playthrough.

Also, do these threads detail on transfering over the melee moves as well? Like the whip attacks that the phoenix adept/Vanguard uses?

IIRC you can't detonate ammo priming (there is no ammo priming) in SP.

Last time I played SP, I was able to detonate my Vanguard's Incendiary Ammo just fine.

So...

And you should be able to use the same process with MP abilities yes? Is so, then thank you. Though, it doesn't seem I will be able to change the melee attack to the one that the phoenix classes use.

Yes, unlocking MP powers in SP is at the end of the guide.

Although there are some powers that apparently don't work. To quote the guide:

"The majority of the MP powers work quite well. Of the ones I've tested, the following don't work:

Hawk Missile Launcher (doesn't launch missiles)
Biotic Hammer (hammer is a melee attack, which you don't have)
Armor-Piercing Arrows (bow is a melee attack)
Concussive Arrows (bow is a melee attack)Flamer (no damage, no visual effect)
Electrical Hammer (hammer is a melee attack)
Shadow Strike (no damage dealt to target)
Supply Pylon (seems to give out infinite supplies, though it doesn't seem to replenlish grenades)
Phase Disruptor (no visuals, no damage)

And the following work but have visual errors:

Havoc Strike (missing art/effects, but otherwise works)
Snap Freeze (no freeze cone visual, but power works)"

I'm wondering if there's a way to change Shepard's appearance (as in race). I'd love to play through SP with a Vorcha Shep. :P

That's been my experience as well, Dullahans. I'm working on an Insanity playthrough with a Vanguard and she sets off fire explosions most of the time after shooting the enemy with incendiary ammo.

However...

I set off fire explosions a LOT with incendiary ammo + biotic charge, however, I find it is not always consistent. I also was setting some off with incendiary ammo + energy drain, but it seemed like those were only exploding if the resulting fire explosion was going to kill the enemy. So, it's like sometimes (maybe with certain powers) it works like the old MP days before one of the patches, when you only got tech explosions if the enemy's health was low enough for the explosion to kill them, as opposed to how it is now post-whatever-patch-that-was that made tech explosions happen all the time as long as they were primed.

From my experience of currently being playing SP, incendiary ammo works wonders. Big ass Fire explosions, like nothing I've seen on MP. Always works. And what can I say about that 6b explosive evolution? Even my Katana I was godly. Also, I run Inferno nades on my Vanguard. Nothing on MP comes close.
