Felassan, the Dalish mage, has a boss that kills him at the end of novel...what's curious is that Fel tells this entity that Briala reminds him of his boss. And Fel spent much of the novel commenting on how like FEN'HAREL Briala is. And what's more, Felassan had to go to the freaking FADE to meet up with this guy, before his death.

Oh no, Felassan was so cool in the preview ....

I wouldn't be surprised if the Dread Wolf is in DAI , I remember a long time ago we saw a very blurry picture looking like the Meredith/Orsino drawing in DA2 .

But it seems it was a wolf and somekind of dragon facing each others.

Me think , Flemeth and Fen harel are like old nemesis , and one is trapped in the fade , the other on Thedas.

It's crazy theories of course , but it would be nice.

 

Wonder what the city elves are going to do with Eluvian...I'm mostly interested by the place beyind the fade Morrigan went ...

 

Anyway any cameos of past/future companions?

If Fen'Harel is real (and not an incorrect assumption on our part or a being of the fade just taking up his identity), that certainly adds something significant to teh theories about the creators, the make, the old gods and the nature of the darkspawn. This is awesome news!

So if one of the main antagonists is in the fade, and the Dread Wolf besides, guessing Solas the elven fade expert is gonna be pretty important. (I may be a dwarf player, but I am still extremely excited by this.)

 

Eluvianix, when you say the "eluvians", plural, what are you talking about? Is there some hidden cache of eluvians in Val Royeaux or something? Or is this referring to like, Merril's eluvian, Morrigan's eluvian, and like one other or something?

 

Speaking of Morrigan, was she in the book?

It was very good. It's was nearly as good as Asunder.

I found it had something of a slow start.  But the pace picks up and becomes quite enjoyable

No Morrigan in the novel, not even a glimpse.

 

And yes, there is a network of now working mirrors now reactivated by Briala throughout Thedas.
