^ That makes sense, too.
I hope we find out, because that mystery is going to bug me - given the implications it has for the rest of the DA universe.

I believe Masked Empire and Asunder are roughly set over the same time period.
They seem to show different facets of the same few months leading up to the start of Inquisition, really.
As for Sera,
Am I the only one that really like Celene after reading the book? Man, Anora is like a naive little peasant girl compare to the Empress. Hope we can meet her in DA:I

I guess she has to be that way. She's the head of an empire, a nasty one too, and in such a chaostic time. Being anything less than she is now and she would be completely destroyed.
on 199 after a couple hour break.
i'm starting to like one side of the war for the wrong reasons, and dislike another side for the right ones
I wonder if Merrill will ever meet Briala. That'd be a thing.

I am just sitting here stunned and effing thrilled! It was so fantastic. I basically didn't stop reading it from start to finish. Now, I want to see these people in the games. I want my Inquisitor to meet them. I want another book, because it was just that good.
Delicious, delicious angst. I could probably write an essay about every single thing I enjoyed about the story. All the characters! So complex and interesting. No one was boring. All the little details. All the new information. All the background.
So good. So very, very good.
had for force myself to stop, i wanted to make this book last until next friday for a flight, but it will be done tomorrow it looks like. i look forward to reading all of your comments then

I'm not lying to you. I had goosebumps and even teary eyes at some parts of the book. Almost impossible to put down once I started. Haven't found a book this good for quite awhile now.
I haven't bought the book yet, how good would you guys (who have read it) say it is in comparison to the other DA books? Bad? Decent? Goood? Great? Super special awesomesauce?
Burned through it in one sitting. Props to Mr. Weekes. Left a great twisted feeling in the end.
Alright, who lives and who dies?
And does Morrigan appear or get mentioned at all?
Someone needs to write a spoiler summary of the events in the book.
