Well, we all know what has happened with DA2 and ME3. And i've seen plenty of people say that Inquisition will turn out just the same. But i believe the way things are going, and what i have seen so far about the game. Its going to look great, have cool ass gear, and have tatical combat . Which is a BIG step up from DA2. But their are still people out there who doubt it ill even be as good as origins. Which is clearly a downplay considering we have somewhat 7-9 months until it comes out.So what are your thoughts? Inquisition yay or nay?

(My vote is yay)

I don't. Although I am a little intrigued by what they have shown us so far, I also don't plan on letting my expectations to get above "mildly interested" until the game is actually out.

ME3 and DA2 shared the same problem:
They had the shortest development time of their series, both games feel rushed (DA2 being the worst on that aspect).

Now that Bioware has a nice amout of time to develop the game, I'm very relaxed with DAI and I don't expect it to be another big mess... So yay! (Edit: I have hopes, but not High hopes... Not anymore after Colonial Marines :crying:).

I will always have high hopes for Dragon Age, it's my favorite series.

Maybe that's gullible, but I prefer being that to pessimistic.

I don't want to get my hopes up. However, I also rationally acknowledge that

THIS GAME WILL COMPLETE MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sort of.
I have played... i'm not sure... upwards of 10 playthroughs of DA:O, but i've only been able to complete DA2 once. Every time i've tried to play again i get bored because I know my choices are meaningless. Well, perhaps they're not, it's just how i feel.

I have hopes that magic will once again be only the province of mages. I.e., no teleporting rogues and magical sword strikes / slashes and sweeps.

On the other hand, my dad has just started his 20th???? playthrough of DA2.

Nope, I'm just like whatever, I'll wait for fan reviews when the game is released, when I finished ME3 I decided never to preorder another Bioware game again.

I have high hopes that I'm going to enjoy playing DAI, that it's going to be very challenging, and that I'm going to participate in a great story. I am concerned about specializations, especially for mages, the lack of health regen, and my own limitations in reacting to on-screen combat (I'm terrible at learning what the controls do.)

I think it's possible to be optimistic and still have concerns. I expect challenges and for me, one of them is going to be learning to play the stupid thing.

Yay! I will preorder the game as soon as it's an option. I enjoyed both DA games and have played both multiple times.

We don't know much, but what little we know suggests to me most of what I didn't like about DA2 is getting fixed or improved. Not totally the way I want, but you know, enough of a way so I might cotton to it. And hey, I realize, they're making the game for more than just me, crazily enough.

For that reason, yes, I have some hope.

I still, to this day, brag about my 42 Dragon Age: Origins playthroughs.

And 27 DA2. Not nearly as addicted to that game.

Yup. DA2 was disappointing, true enough, but not so much that I don't enjoy it. ME3 was amazing, even though I like a lot of people, would have gone in a different direction with the ending.

Thus far, Bioware has just about done everything that I asked for with DA:I. Switch to Frostbite? Check. Open up the environments? Check. Make in game decisions affect that environment? Check. Reconfigure, tune, and tighten the combat? Check. Take your time and polish it to sparkly? Check.

So yeah, I'm expecting an incredible game and I don't think I'll be disappointed.

Heck yeah! I'm really hard to disappoint when it comes to video games. Dragon Age is my favorite video game series. While DA2 wasn't the best I still really enjoyed it. I have like 15 play throughs for Dragon age origins so yeah lol

I only hope DA:I will orientate more on DA2 than DA:O in terms of combat (action-paced and stylish) and armors/weapons.
