I don't. Although I am a little intrigued by what they have shown us so far, I also don't plan on letting my expectations to get above "mildly interested" until the game is actually out.

Bioware's burned me far too many times in the last few years for me to have faith in the quality of their games/books/anything anymore.
I'm going in much like Jimmy. Though I hope I'm surprised.

Have to admit though, DA:I looks interesting and some game mechanics sound promising, but too less info to judge it appropriatly. They still can screw up many things.

Looking forward to playing it, though. I enjoy action-RPGs, and despite its heavy flaws, even Dragon Age 2 was significantly better than many recent others. Here's hoping they bring the ignored strengths of Origins back to Inquisiton, with DA2's handful of improvements.

I feel the exact same.Knight of Dane wrote...
I will always have high hopes for Dragon Age, it's my favorite series.
Maybe that's gullible, but I prefer being that to pessimistic.

I also enjoy replaying games with the same character.Magdalena11 wrote...
LOL! I've got 14 Hawkes on this computer and at least half a dozen on my sister's and I can say that quite a few of them were the same game....I like roleplaying some personalities better than others, what can I say?

Far better to be pleasantly surprised by something exceeding your low expectations than to be disappointed by something failing to meet your higher expectations.
This has been my philosophy for quite some time especially regarding games. Of course, after the X:Rebirth fiasco... I have had to add another line:
Of course, having low expectations and the reality of the game not even managing to meet those, tends to be the worst form of crushing agony.
I will keep my expectations tempered, but I am hopeful. I really could use a game that keeps my faith in developers alive right now.

Hopes for a video game cost me very little - so I've got plenty to spare. If the game is great - the payoff is great. If the game sucks - the deficit is negligible.

I've yet to see a reason to doubt Bioware.

On the other hand, my dad has just started his 20th???? playthrough of DA2.
Fascinating.
It could just be his memory so every time it is like a new game. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/bandit.png[/smilie]
Lol, that's mean.
