Yep, I've got super high hopes for Inquisition.

I adored both Origins and Dragon Age 2, so unless Bioware does something really, really different, I have no doubt that I'll love it.

But Dragon Age is my favorite game series ever, so that's not really surprising.

High hopes after DA2, ME2,ME3 and TOR? This a joke?

No. It can only go downhill from DA:O, and I'm sure it will be downhill from DA:II as well.

I have full faith that this game will be a masterpiece, just like Dragon Age II, my personal favorite of the Dragon Age series.

Not really, I haven't been blown away by what I've seen so far. It's still going to be something if I get that I pick up after release and hear from some people who have finished the game. My best friend is going to get it, I'll definitely wait for his review before I make the final decision.

High hopes? No. I do expect it to be better than DA:I, but that's not exactly the same as being wildy optimistic. As a few others have said, I'm mildly interested, but I'll wait and see how it turns out.

No.

After the direction of DA2 (that i had a good time with, but it is in my opinion the baddest Bioware RPG to date) and ME3 2 choices dialogue Wheel 75% of the time ... and ME3 ending that was a wonderfull middle finger to the fans...

Just no... but i'm kinda optimistic that Bioware does not want to redo another epic **** storm so soon.

I hope it will be a good game, but i will have to spoil myself before i buy it to make sure all the lights are green, which is something i hate doing (i had a habit to buy blindly Bioware games at release since baldur's gate, but now it's a different story).

I guess since DA2 (a little) and especialy ME3, i switched from loyal customer fan to simple customer that does not want to be jerked around again and being told by Bioware representative that i'm too stupid to understand their artistic integrity.

Yup. I'm stoked for it. The Fade Rift plot looks intriguing, your PC will have a cool job, and the combat I saw on the demo video looks more pause-and-play tactical. There's plenty of reason to believe they're getting it right.

Of course I do.

Hopes for a video game cost me very little - so I've got plenty to spare. If the game is great - the payoff is great. If the game sucks - the deficit is negligible.

The same hopes I have for any game. They need to sell me on it.

I cant help but laugh at the "BIoware has burned me multiple times of the past 4 years" and its coming from people that are here day in day out agonizing over every shred of information they can get.

I guess I will never understand masochistics

When they were first announcing this game, and it looked like it was just going to be a human protagonist and the timing feeling... a bit rushed for the game's scope - my hopes were definitely tempered.

But since then, with the extra year's work going into it, the multiple races coming back, the extra polish time, my hopes have *definitely* gone up. With the move to the Frostbite engine, it's looking fantastic. Tactical view has returned. Huge areas to explore. Combat pace is looking good. Mounts. Improved crafting, customization and so on.

Still a lot of questions to be answered, but so far I'm definitely liking what I'm seeing.

I like to carry a healthy bit of Skepticism with a dash of cynicism. I don't wanna go through another Mass Effect 3. That was just awful. It completely tore the fan base apart.

Assuming the fanbase was ever in any sort of agreement to begin with.

You must admit it was never as bad as it became after the ending. Just standard bickering.

It was the same bickering there were just that many more voices added too it. It has just gotten that much louder which speaks to BioWare.

That have apparently burned so many people for the past... what is it DA2 thru ME3 they are still here. They still buy them or agonize over every little tidbit of information released about the upcoming games.

In my eyes gamers are just as full of hotair as politicians. They love to preach one thing but do the other because (especially on the internet) they know they can get away with it.

I am losing my enthusiasm for the game. Not loving the known companions (other than Varric of course), not loving the kind of choices we may have ( for example save the village or save the fort) and not sure about these agents, and worried that Orlais and Orlesians will come across as over the top charactures.
All I want is a great and compelling story, rich comraderie, and the option of being a good old fashion hero/ine.

Well, lets look at what EA did to C&C4, ME3, DA2, Sim City (ONLINE Required for Single Player).

No Modding support for this game.

Modding FIXED the ME3 Ending (see Nexus Website).

I have more hopes for Windows 9.
