but seriously, they become immune to being hit by powers during animations, so if its about to do a bombing, or in the middle of a bombing, your powers will miss. lag makes this problem much worse because you can't tell when its starting its animation til long after

Nah. This is powers cast way before they even begin bombing runs or any other animation. They're just floating along not giving a damn about mah overload thrown their way.thewalrusx wrote...

It's when they're moving laterally. If they're going towards you or away from you, your powers will never miss.
I've noticed that too. Not sure if it's always the case but powers do seem to hit much more frequently if they're not moving parallel to you.

I've heard different opinions on how to specifically make powers more likely to connect when used against Bombers.
-I've heard scoped in power use makes it more likely to connect, not true IMHO or experience.
-I've also head that having the hit box targeted a little longer makes power more likely to hit but IDK that it's true either.
-The one thing I have noticed that doesn't fail is shooting them first then power useage, seems to always connect.
Opinions on why powers miss?
Bad coding, lack of QA, lazy developers who DGAF, etc etc etc.

Speaking of Dragoons, my power combos only detonate on them about 50% of the time. It's not a matter of them dodging, because I even get dud explosions from using Overload to detonate fire explosions, or they will stagger from my Throw without any combo detonating.dr_random wrote...
They behave just like Dragoons. Shoot them and they'll dodge and then they're open for powers. I never saw bombers dodge twice in a row.
