I play too limited an amount of classes to give you any suggestion that is not absurdly overpowered. However, I have a suggestion in the strategy department - try to drain as much wave budget as you can by killing Abominations - they die really fast and drain a disproportionate amount of wave budget - 45 points, compared to Husks' 10.

Good luck in your endavours.

Something that's very good at dropping armour down, or a good debuffer, the best option while dealing with the collectors is to take them DOWN as fast as you can ! you can't afford to take your time with them especially when those praetorians come around ... with those ... death lasers... I hate them so much... & also the scions who always have you on the move with those annoying ass grenade lobs ...and you'll need something with a decent amount of shields, because if that laser hits you, and you're on a weak fitness kit, you will be downed in like .. 1 full laser shot lol

Maybe either the Turian Havoc for a good cryo debuff on everything + stim packs, plus the havoc strike to use as backup escape, or the TGI, I think the Geth engineer would be useful too especially on those later waves when it's not just collectors anymore.

Me? What would I personally take into a collector solo? My goto character, Cabal vanguard. lol

if you play smart and bring an acolyte, any weapons build SHOULD suffice .. lol

I'm sorry, yes, it's 40. No idea why I thought it's 45. My point stands nonetheless.

Wave 1 and 5 - concentrate on abombs.
Wave 2 - if you have a deeps - it's better to kill crabs (if your TTK for them is <10 sec), one crab costs 120, it's better than mook hunt. Otherwise - kite the crabs and kill all the mooks in your sight.
Wave 4 is the most annoying - double banshees and nothing to deplete wave budget fast, if you have a banshee killer (crusader with both piercings and warp ammo, or anything powerfull with>2m of penetration) the wave will end soon. Bee acutely aware of captain-maradeur death quartet.
Wave 7 - concentrate on abombs, try to kill triple bombers together so they don't spread on the map.
Wave 8 - prime time, but you should kill all the pyros on sight! 360 every time!
Wave 9 - one banshee is not a problem if you can deal with phantoms quickly, otherwise it will be painfull, but there are plenty of abombs. So don't care about antiphantom tools so much, if you don't mind kiting for a bit longer you only need to deal with three phantoms total.

Objectives 3 and 6 are lol. 10 will be painfull (2 crabs 2 banshees 2 primes 2 troopers)
11 - good luck with lolgoons.

General advice - scions are your best friends, learn to fool them, you'll miss em past wave 5

I personally like the ACA with a PPR. That is a speciality class, with a larger learning curve to his powers and dodge, but dark channel, warp ammo, and PPR the enemy bug heads, and praetorian bellies. You'll find praetorians and other bosses go down in usually two clips, three at most.

RHA is your friend with the PPR, and if learn the bug dodge you can cover the map much faster than running and with 40% DR on topic jumping from soft cover to soft cover, with hard cover in between.

Quite frankly taking down bosses is faster than taking down mooks with the PPR.

My TSent is able to one-clip non-possesed plat crab consistently with either warp or AP ammo (I prefer AP). So should be ACA

Possessed crabs on the other had... I remember I've oneclipped platinum possesed crab with destroyer (fully equipped PPR-X AP4, both rail amps). But it happened once. Need to HS consistently, not easy when they are spinning around due to huge pain Lazor causes.

Basicaly, most bosses should go down in one clip, otherwise PPR will become a meh weapon with 700 deeps sustained (as much as Valkyrie, a bit less than Mattock).

Wave 6 collectors can be harder than any other objective wave, if you get targets or devices you're normally screwed.

Well, combo of 2 crabs, atlas, three engies and two abombs is quite brutal, hard to disagree. But it's map-dependant.
