I'd say the Collectors are the hardest faction. Freakin Praetorians with eye beams, swarms that prevent shield/power regen, Abominations, Possessed anythings, it's all a giant cluster. I'll take Atlases (Atlasi?), Phantoms, and Nemesis' (Nemesi?) of the Collectors, even as annoying as a Phantom sync kill is.

It all depends on team mates, map and classes. I still maintain that Collectors are by far the hardest opponent in a pug setting.

I'd say geth because for me collectors don't count, they are buggy. Though come to think of it some teammates get you killed by killing abominations close to you... lol

Atlases are one of the least threatening bosses in the game

Out of Banshees, Primes, Crabs I agree, however atlases mostly don't care for RHA, pack a considarable punch and if he misses you with his rocket, It's a glitch. Also they can lock on you through all the walls you might be hiding behind so that when you do run for that ammo box or whatever, the missile is already on its way.

I guess this is also different for everyone. Here's my gold list:

Collectors>Cerberus>Reapers (due to banshees)>geth (despite the primes)

Generally I lead the phantoms behind my friends and yell "SURPRISE" which always gets rave reviews.

Oh yeah on topic, Cerbs are middle of the pack in gold difficulty IMHO.

This, a thousand times this.

True for all, but I would say collectors are considered the hardest especially due to PuGs. They don't walk away from Crabs, get cornered, and they blow their teammates up from possessed abominations. Not an issue with teammates but randoms... oh god.

Collectors>Cerberus>Reapers/Geth for me as a generalisation. Different characters/ different scenarios = different list of difficulty.

It still keeps surprising me that people find Collectors so amazingly difficult. Yeah, they're tought, but they also have the least amount of BS of all the factions; the eye/butt lazors are the only real issue, but that's a known issue and easily accounted for.

Everything Collectors throw at you is consistent and predictable and easily avoidable with good awareness. It's only when you lack that awareness that you get punished - hard. Every time I see a team go down while fighting Collectors it's because they either fail to look around them or refuse to relocate when it's time - usually both.

100% agreed!
They are the faction with the least BS and by far! That is why they are my favorite enemy faction to fight.

The Slayer is my Cerberus spanker of choice. The bane of mini-bosses. Just zip around massacring Phantoms and deal with the Atlases at the end of the wave.

Predictable, controllable, can avoid being shot even at 60+FPS (in comparison with lolRavager/Nemesis). Have a HS bonus.

Collectors devastate campers and retarded power-spammers, that's what I love them for.

So much truthery. Even more practical in pugs where your team mates have no choice but to fight Atlases, since everything else dies to Slayer.

It seems to me that flanking is often the best tactic. The enemy can't shoot you if it isn't facing you unless it's a Geth unit.

It's great when the game invalidates all but a single strategy.

Depends on the kit. Assguards and Shadows make light work of Cerberus.
Overall I would say Collectors are the hardest because of swarms and how difficult objectives become at times. Most of the PUG fails I have been in are v Collectors

Seriously though, I imagine Kislitsin probably could do the Warlord solo you suggested. Even I solo'd with the Warlord and I'm horrible with that kit.

Well, soloing geth with lancer is a boring thing. But I did try him vs cerbers, managed to extract. It was probably the second time I've pulled him out. As I have no skill to use reeger, I can't aim and the only weapon I can use is lolOP-PPR, I decided (as usually) to go with claymoar.
No omni-blade, either Claymoar with choke and barrel, or no Claymoar at all :pinched:

I was surprised how lolOP is he in terms of survivability. I mean, seriously, every time I went down was just because of how stupidly I've played, the guy is more tanky than GJ. I didn't take that solo seriously (I can't take the kit seriously, he seems like a comic character to me), otherwise it's easily possible to push it to the decent time with 10ws, but I was too busy playing nemesisball (the second reason I hadn't take omniblade).

On-host phantoms are lol for dat guy, I'm kinda surprised I've seen so many PUGs being impaled by phantoms while playing him on-host (and with reeger :?)

Collectors and rippaz should be more painful for him, but one can switch distruptors for incendiary ammo and power amps for cyclonics and he'll be just fine.

I have no problems playing collectors with power-heavy kits (human adept/engie, both assdepts) either.
And do you really miss the strategy "stay close together and hold the place"?

I doubt that you are only 12 since you seemed to get the reference without any trouble. However, if you are truely 12 then you shouldn't be playing this game.

Back on topic, flamer classes are probably the most fun classes to go up against cerberus.
