yea, its not legit because we can't mod on console. It's unfair, and cheating to take luck out of the equation for the specific purpose of "getting a faster time" without all the trial and error, that is the "random" number generator

@Heldarion.... mod ur game for all three devices on thunderdome AND no kookpartmenta then i will bow down to your greatness.

If i made.a solo attempt with reegqr krosol with infernal nades and made a thread about it... most people would not be impressed by it.

When people are impressed with cheese with reegar is when ill be impressed with gi talon modded game.

Yup, something that's not supposed to be in the game is totally the same something that is in the game and can actually happen.

I'm not really interested in doing any Thunderdome because I don't need to prove anything to you... who throw the term "Thunderdome" around so much, yet failed pretty much all of the latest streamed thunderdome duos. You have no idea how much I don't care about your opinion.

For somebody who is totally not impressed by this solo, you have an awful lot to say about it. Why don't you move just move along, since it's clearly unimpressive.

it looks to me like you are disagreeing with the principle of modding.

In this case (to my knowledge), the "mod" does nothing other than save time by producing a situation that can and does occur without it. It doesn't artificially quicken the gameplay itself. There are special circumstances for nearly everything.

If the goal is to practice within a completely legit environment that is otherwise not regularly attainable, than anything that will make constant practice within that environment viable should be utilized, because the alternative is just plain stupid and counterproductive.

But he would just rage quit on objectives that would have screwed his time anyway. Why is it so bad just to save yourself the time? He wouldn't have gotten this time without the objectives he had, obviously, but he was going to grind it out until he got those objectives anyway (something that is entirely possible to happen through the natural play of the game). Who wants to sit there for days grinding RNG? That's ridiculous.

Nah not even. Thats how ridiculously OP the GI Talon is.... he missed a truckload of shots and still was mowing them down.. gi talon is just a wrecking train that could make ANY player seem better then what they actually are

5. Armored Compartments6. Hacked objectives7. Running with pizza.. (did u see that dragoon he ran away from with pizza)

Because under all those standards he still the one who can do it faster?

Calling this not valid just because objective is stupid because even without mod the files you can perfectly get that configuration, it would take more tries to get yes, but it is totally possible.


Now, if you tell me he is modifying any other value such as damage, health or even spawns then yes, but for objective that can be get under a normal situation?, Please...

Lol not the gameplay the time. He modded the game to make it easier on himself. He didnt have to put forth much effort. The mods took some of the load off of him.

Edit* Maybe I should rephrase the time is impressive I just find it hard to take serious due to the modding. That goes for anything though missile glitching, 66666 builds, modding anything to make the game easier I find hard to take serious. If people want to do it then to each their own im just saying

there is a difference between "easy mode" and luck.

Alquinn totally should have tried to break sub 13 without modded objectives. This is clearly the reasonable way to do this. The more RNG the better.

This thread is all about ur epeen.. ur trying to prove how good ur gi skills are to everyone... thats why u posted a vid.
Ok lets break this down... Is his video educational? No its not. Its not edjucational Because u mod the game AND u ran with pizza... if a consol player can duplicate what u can do in that video i would deem it educational and a great video.

So if i activated a missile glitch only on every objective wave to make it faster would it be ok?

If i did a speed run with 66666 build with that be ok too?

Because all of that stuff like modding objectives, missile glitching, and modded builds are all in one category to me.
