I have 2 questions...
1) Is there any way to change the orientation of a model effect within the editor? Want to make a VFX of one of the wagons and put a horse in it, but it's facing sideways, which wouldn't work.
2) Can you swap the humans out somehow? This would be easier if I could see the actual model I wanted to apply the effect to (instead of doing an alpha, adding in the model, then afding in the stuff I want...)

1) yes there is a way - just cant articulate it - but i used it to make force fields that faced N-S and E-W
btw: when changing facing - i believe it is in degrees - the editor always shows the vfx main face so once you find the gadget your knowledge of compass degrees will prove fruitful when testing is happening
2) no - the bloody human models are a permanent fixture of the vfx editor so experimentation needed with attach points
btw: you can make the humans go away but then you cant see ur vfx either iirc

The vertical dirt shadows are just the dirt shadow effects after they have been rotated 90 degrees. Sorry, I don't recall the exact steps, but it wasn't that hard to find the option.
