You can laugh at on host phantoms if you have a fury, slayer, acolyte, reegar or talon pistol. Turrets are the deadliest enemy unit in the cerberus faction.

Cerberus turrets don't follow the ordinary targeting protocol, so at higher FPS the turret can track you better, but uses its own set of interp stats so its beading doesn't actually scale with fps like most of the other AI do. It doesn't have the same aimbot snapping that the regular AI for troopers, captains, marauders etc get when you go up in frames.
The turret in many cases will stupidly not shoot you for a few seconds as its coded to do. Just a shame dragoons won't do the same. Dragoon snapping in action. Didn't even have LoS until it was already firing.
Cerberus turrets still have time (measured in seconds, not in frames) minimum before they can start shooting at you, making them one of the easiest enemies to avoid in the entire game. The only real issue with them is they don't make any sound, so if you miss them being deployed, or there's one in a tucked away in a corner you might not notice it until after your "free escape time" has expired.
Example of dumb turret AI compare this to the dragoon targeting. Notice a huge difference? The turret has LoS as I step out, but doesn't start shooting at me due to it having a coded delay in engine seconds before it opens fire.
Turrets are far from OP, but they do have far too much health and are rather tedious to kill. Seems to be a thing in games these days, add "turret" enemies which are way too tough.

Do scions have the same aiming algorithm? Since I've upgraded I noticed that fooling them became easier task at 60+. Or I just see things?
