I want my ranger to worship Kelemvor, I don't know how or what to edit to make this so. Using TlkEdit2 I chaned the 2da, 2da_X1, and 2da_X2 zipped files to 1 under the ranger category for entry 73 Kelemvor and no dice. I then tried to use it to edit my player.bic under the save file in my documents changing milleki to Kelemvor. No change in game. Am I doing something wrong? is it because I'm still in the tutorial?

player.bic in the Save is just sort of a backup. ( I think it gets copied to your playervault on character creation and then is forgotten, could be wrong tho )

go for playerlist.ifo, with TlkEdit2, in the Save folder ...

make a backup if you need to,

ps. don't think you'd want to touch any .2da for this. The game should use 2DA_X2.zip automatically. if you want, check out nwn2_deities but i think the .2da is just for initially choosing a divine class: that is, changing a PC deity ought be as simple as changing the string w/ TlkEdit2

be careful with spelling and case, though.

ok,I mainly wanted to have the dialogue of being a follower of Kelemvor plus all the nature deities just seem a bit weak or (in the case of selune) aloof. If the campaign had lycanthropy I wouldn't mind being a lunatic, but otherwise Selune just seems pointless. Plus Kelemvor's views on the role of death jive with the natural order vs. Myrkul who used his power over death to pervert it.

A lawful-aligned ranger should be able to pick Kelemvor.

Kelemvor might only be selectable for a lawful-neutral ranger.

Edit: Actually, looking at nwn2_deities.2DA suggests that ANY lawful alignment would do, as Arkalezth suggested. There is a '2' in the LG, LN and LE columns.
