Of course when you praise the dull monotone of Meer, you no doubt consider any show of emotion overacting.
Of course, when you praise such hysteria like Hale, any sort of subtlety and actual acting is taken as monotony.
Hey continue to parrot me all you like, it won't change the facts or your ignorance.

FemShep overacted so much, she was practically eating through the stage.
Spoken like someone who's never heard her. Ah the ignorant trolls get easier and easier to spot.
Ignorant would be you not seeing that everyone has an opinion, just because they don't match yours doesn't make them trolls nor ignorant.

And your super observational skills wont change the fact that Hale isn't the ****ing cats pajama's.

Anyway, what's this "Launch Trailer" I keep hearing about? No link I've tried takes me to anything with Mark Meer voicing Shepard in it. Several links just take me right to Gamespot's main page, which currently has no Mass Effect vids on it. Anybody have a direct link?

Lol. I've lost track of who's trolling who.
Anyway, if it helps, I consider them both to be about the same. Their voice acting has never concerned me.

Hale is good. Mark Meer now also sounds like he's good. Everyone is happy.

I'm sure it threatens your masculinity or something for me to point out Meer's monotony.

Ah, fandumb at its best. Hale must be in a state of perpetual orgasm the way Angry One cleans her divide.

Everyone always gushes about Hale and while I think she is indeed a good VA she wasn't that great, I thought she was almost indistinguishable from MaleShep. I don't think that's her or Meer's fault (I blame the direction).

I've played both fem and male fully through, both over 50 hours. I have no problems with Hale's performance, it's good. I just prefer Meer's performance.
Both of them have probably improved a lot in this installment.

So you can dislike Meer, but if he dislikes Hale he's a troll?
Because her opinion is fact, and Hale is a master thespian.
oh man
I can't stop laughing.
P.S. Hale monotoned a lot of her lines, shes a great VO actress but that doesn't change that fact

Not really, it'll be a debate based on taste. Like all debates on taste it will generally degenerate into a flame war that exponentially increases in the severity of the hyperbole used.
Frankly, both Hale and Meer had good performances. Both delivered some lines with monotony, Meer more frequency with monotony and Hale more frequency with overacting/overpronouncing (really BOLDING some words).
Both are likely to be much improved this time around.

This thread had nothing to do with Hale. It was about Mark Meer getting better, which is totally true.
But certain femshep lovers wont let us have nice things.

Right, he probably got significantly better. As did Hale.
Hugs all around.
Not sure what more there is to say, not like we can make analyses of their voice acting yet.

I was going to jump in to defend Hale from you before I got to this very sensible post.
Admit it though, you where trying to pick a fight earlier in the thread.
