I'll give it a go tomorrow, I'd try it now but I'm still kinda hoping to catch a bit more drama from Heldarion's thread before it gets locked/deleted. And my 360 is downstairs at the minute meaning I can't use it without people shouting at me for using the 360 downstairs... and then teling me to take it upstairs when I mention that I wasn't the one who brought it downstairs... and then being asked by my sister if she can borrow the bastard thing when its upstairs so that she play it downstairs... Goddamnit...

I tried a Talon GI run a few days ago, but got disconnected on Wave 10 at something like 10:3x with modded objectives. Guess I'll give it another try later.

I might try this for some less taxing solo speedrun practice because I just end up rushing and making stupid mistakes normally. Would this be helpful in any way for learning or is silver just too different from gold and plat?
No real hope of getting a fastest time anyway though - the best you can do will almost certainly be better than me, br4in.

Your best bet would probably be QMI /w Harrier (Drill III, AM III/Power IV, AR Amp III and Geth Scanner) taking the extra nade at Rank 5. With the rate you can accumulate the nades in a Silver solo you likely won't need Grenade Cap, or at least it won't be of as much use as GS is to your situational awareness. Or spec into area scan on Tac Scan. My other idea would be Harrier Infidrell taking Geth Scanner and placing the mine in the nook/dark room or on the balcony, but there's a distinct lack of AoE capabilities so the time you'd shave off whilst not looking for the idiotic last enemy might not be worth it.

Alternatively you could go GS Fury with the Acolyte and Hurricane..

@cato: Gold and Plat is definitely less forgiving, you can't run around mindlessly like you can on lolsilver. Still, it can help with having a better grasp of how and where stuff spawns, so there's that at least.

I gave DAI and Fury a couple tries and I can't make them work as well as GI, QMI or Demolisher. I suppose I could try that spec on the QMI, wallhax is just too important.

^ That's the spec I was using for my Bronze runs, and it seems to work pretty well.

I'll try this later if my disc will accept it, I think I have just the right idea on a weapon to use that's perfect for lolsilver anyway.

Console lolsensitivity sucks balls. It took me over half the game to get 20HS, it's like trying to aim through molasses.

I tried spitfire juggy on geth glacier hazard NR(since I don't know wtf spawns on silver) for the lols and got 15:41 escort/pizza/hack(didn't care to cheese it lol).

Decent time... I'm assuming... I don't think any of us has any real idea... I mean we all thought 15 mins for a Gold solo was solid... and that it wouldn't be possible to reach sub-10 for full-squad runs at one point.

Anyways, I should be able to hop online five or six hours from now and might be able to get something to post up on here.
