Any response at all from EAWARE?

There's nothing Bioware or EA can do on the matter if the issue is really what I think it is - except tell nvidia about it. Nvidia always looks at big new games though and tries to maximize the card's effectiveness in running it. Take Fallout 3 for instance, you still get in each patch they release updates to make that game run better. It's just all weird that this happens over time. Either way, I myself haven't experienced this problem again when I was playing yesterday. If it happens again I'll be sure to post. It's all very strange.
I'm lucky enough that this problem doesn't seem to be that big of an issue. For others, it's a hell of a lot more annoying. I really hope Bioware/EA looks into it, as this game is simply phenomenal.

What kind of graphics card are you supposed to use to get this working anyway. Nvidia causes strange graphics issues and ATI appearently isn't even detected.
My boyfriend has a Nvidia 9600 with the latest drivers and doesn't have a single problem. Seems to be the 8600, 8800 and 9800 from what I can see.

I have an 8600GT on my laptop, and its been having similar issues. I'll get some screen flickering (fixable with a resolution change, but its annoying). Occasionally I'll get some tearing graphically. The laptop gets extremely hot (much more hot than with anything I've played), so I put a laptop cooler under it, which helps except for the flickering, which continues to happen.

Same issue here on an AMD X2 4400+ with 4GB RAM and a 8600GTS (191.07 driver) in Win XP SP3.
Didn´t have that kind of flickering in any game before.

Didn´t get a better shot but you get the idea.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, a rollback to 180.48 worked for me (I still get minor glitches like side burns occasionally turning into giant polygons and spikes emerging from left nostrils). After many hours of play, the whole screen goes squirrelly, but exiting and restarting the game fixes it.Arkazz wrote...
I've recently rollback to the 182.50 drivers and so far it has fix my graphical glitches

I also noticed I was able to walk out from some of the open areas on the battlements, where the stone had crumbled, and stand in midair. That was pretty cool and I tried to take a screenshot but it didn't work for some reason. I also continued to walk forward and found myself at the bottom of the battlement. As I walked around the forested area, my character walked straight into a hill and underground! Walked around there for a while underneath the hills and stuff. That was pretty trippy but funny as well. I reloaded at that point since I couldn't find a way to get back to the camp area.
It was an amusing sojourn at 2am and after 10 beers.
8800GT not OC, was using 191.07 drivers at first. Downloaded and installed beta drivers but didn't play after that. I doubt it's overheating.
The only other issue I had was some cutscene dialog overlapping and some screen freezes while the video caught up. After it caught up, the scene played through totally fine. This happened on the initial cutscene for the warrior origin story and the interlude where Duncan introduces you to the camp.

Sorry if this goes through multiple times; it doesn't look like it's posting.

sprouting up in specific areas as I walked around and tried to talk to people. In many cases they
completely covered the entire screen so I was unable to see anything my character was doing. Backing out of the area made them disappear but as soon as I reentered that area, they reappeared.

This game is fun and all but this makes it unplayable unless you try to get a headache!
I have the NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS driver version 190.38
