I'm relatively new to Mass Effect, up until this month all I could do was rent ME3 from my library. I started going through the romance forum and 9/10 times liara is said to have the best romance. For my first playthrough, I chose Liara since I liked her in ME3 and it was fine, a little lacking in ME2 even with LOTSB, but overall fine. Then I played Tali's romance and personally it feels like there is more chemistry and romance in her romance. Here's my question, is there a mission or dlc I'm missing that improves Liara's romance or is it just fans being fans? hopefully I'll get sn answer before getting blocked for flame-baiting.

Romance issues are naturally a matter of personal preference, but Liara does have the most content available. She is the only one who has romance content in all three games, including the romance specific mission banter.

Tali has romance specific dialogue on the Dreadnaught and Rannoch missions.

Liara romance seems like 'default' choice, more symbolic scenes (box, sex, gift). Tali ends up with Garrus then.
But i agree that Tali romance is better written, more fun voice content and development feels more natural.
