1) Bad console controls. Bad PC controls too, since there seems to be something "off" with aiming in this game compared to raw input aiming for CS/Quake even though I have mouse acceleration and mouse dampening off in coalesced. ...
That is certainly number one priority in single player as well as multiplayer. Controls should control IMO. It sucks to die during unstoppable relatively long animations while mashing buttons which have no effect. Controls become consistently not responsive not only during player animations but also during enemy animations which is ridiculous. A game like this must be more responsive/sensitive. I'm not talking thing like casting or reloading but about getting over cover, taking cover, or dodging. At least, if the character is immune to controls for some reason, he should also be immune to stunlock and damage shield-health gate override.
Also, I think, there is too much stunlocking. This is also true for DAO/DA2 but there it is possible to combat it by taking stamina. It might be good if taking fitness would reduce stunlocking. For example, a full fitness character above certain shield level (aka if you can get to 1000 with all gear bonuses) should not be stunned that frequently at least by melee. Or at least block repetitive stunning by granting some control-responsive stun immunity frames after a stun.
