 ... that Miranda shoots a member of Cerberus? How do hell does a "loyalist" shoot one of her own organization? Could it be that she is the type that kills incompetent underlings? Or is it that you can make her betray Cerberus? What do you think?

I believe we read about this in some of the embargo day stuff. If memory serves, that guy was a turncoat and makes some robots go crazy in the tutorial, ransacking the Cerberus base. I think it's a Splinter Cell: Double Agent kind of choice, where Shepard can kill him, but if he tries to spare him, Miranda will do it.

well in that case, fire all guns. Yet either way the guy ends up dying, so i doubt it can be that influential of an event

It's not in a scene with Shepard though. Miranda seems to be coming out of an elevator or something, alone. She finds the guy when the door opens and kills him.

Well Grayson, who was at the time a fairly prominent cerbus member turned on the organisation when he realised that the sacrifices that they preached had to be made were in human. Most notable that of his daughter.

In fact he always considered himself loyal to the cause until his revelation.

In saying that, its easy to imagine that she has a change of heart brought on by your choices.

I believe this is one of the guys you meet early on during the prologue, some time after meeting Jacob. As others have stated, Miranda shoots the guy, because it turns out he's a traitor.
