That's a lot of one sentence answers to every question.... guess he's not really talkative...

Really? He really can't say too much without giving stuff away.

There's a lot of really broad questions about himself, his inspiration, free time, what he liked in previous games ect. but the answer is just "I like dragons" Image IPB

Yay confirmation! Nice that they don't hold a grudge and let you do the official confirmation after you let it leak 4 months ago. Still really looking forward to what Trevor Morris has in store. Here's a few tracks for people to listen to.

The Tudors -  Main Title

A Howling Wilderness/The Death of Jane Seymour

and

It Is Well Done/ End of a Dynasty

Here is some action music from Olympus Has Fallen

He says he already revealed the DAI main theme and it was a smash hit, when did this happen.

I think he was talking about Bioware, not a public reveal.

Since it was worded (in the translation, at least) as when he would "present" it, I think he took the question (whether meant that way or not) as "when will you present it to the devs." At least that's how it appears to me.

Ack, so close and then a ninja appeared from nowhere!

Excellent interview. Worst kept secret that everyone knew was he was the composer. Very talented guy. I think he fits perfectly with the DA games and can't wait to hear his style.

I like Inon but I always felt music was an area DA could improve on a lot. Mass Effect has such wonderful soundtracks and all those touchy feel moments wouldn't be half as good without the music to help express those moods. Music is critical in a game where you build relationships up and pushes so much emotion. <3

Yeah, looking back on it now, for a lot of the time DA's music was just... there. It was great some of the time and had some memorable main themes, but I'd struggle to point to many areas where the music really worked in tandem with the cinematics to make something incredible.

I guess I didn't really notice its absence while playing the games, but when you compare it to Mass Effect there's definitely a sense that DA can improve. On their own the soundtracks for DA:O and DA2 were perfectly functional, but if they're going for more cinematic storytelling then I can see why they'd want to shake up the music a bit.

Today I revealed a NEW, BIG information about Inquisition. Trevor Morris is a new DAI composer.

When DAI Main Theme? I don't know. NDA

Thank you for comments!

I got a bit sad when I heard that DA is getting a new music composer, but from listening to some examples of Morris' work I think it could work pretty well!

Good job! So I guess the music at the beginning of the E3 trailer is part of the main theme?

It was composed by a different composer actually, I think they like to mix things up with the trailer music or something.

Excuse me that I cannot visit youtube here ...

Thank you so much for putting this up and in English as well!

I adore Morris. I swear half of my Spotify is full of his playlists. Tudors, Vikings, Immortals and the Borgias. I actually walked down the aisle at my wedding to the Tudors intro/theme song. Morris also did some of the soundtrack (or all, not sure) for SkyLiving/NBC's Dracula. I adored the show and the music was fantastic, especially Van Helsing's scene where he freaks out. I believe he also worked on Reign, which is a show I deplore, but once the soundtrack is released I'll likely take a listen.

" I heard briefly what Inon did, which sounded very much like his style. But my style is very different, and I think the gang at BIO ware knew what to expect from me and my sound." That part made me a little sad. The "very different" part. :c But I am still excited to hear it and play the game!

Thanks for this!:) Great work!!!

Agreed.

Music is just such an important aspect of a Bioware game for me. While I am excited to hear Inquisitions music I highly doubt Morris or any other composer will be able to make music that suits the world like Inon Zur did.

I am really liking what I hear so far! The perfect 5th theme ascending throughout the pieces similar to the music from before but with its own identity. Keeps me humming...
