Too bad he had to admire his bad ass self in the mirror. *Sigh*

It's really sad when you see Tamlen in your camp again as a darkspawn far into the game.  I wish he could have been saved. Hell, even become a party member. I can see him become a romance plot. If you're a female elf, you have options in the Dalish origin to say to him that you can't if you're male. Flirtatious options!

Anyways, Tamlen was a bad ass. He was cocky, arrogant, and had a bad ass voice.

oh yeah... Tamlen was cool. i was a little shattered when he disappeared... (i know about the late game ambush bit, but have yet to reach that part... my avatar is my new dalish who loved him).

his voice was awesome. the cocky arrogance is the selling point for me. "confidence is a must, cocky-ness is a plus", (who'd have ever though Britney would be so right about anything... Tamlen doesn't have much in the way of rough edges though...)
i think in no other origin does any other character (except perhaps for Soris) give an age-range for the PC... Tamlen seems VERY <20... in fact most of his comments and actions make me think he was about 17/18... which especially for a female Dalish, would make your character the same age - give or take a year or two at most.

have you downloaded the mod that makes him as good looking as he should have been?

"dragon age redesigned"... has something like 140 face-mods for various characters...to make them look more like they should (to fit the Lore better, or just a better looking face ... Valora for instance shouldn't be pretty, but the mod at least makes her as pretty as a standard elf, and not hideous... Soris shouldn't end up with an ugly chick...) the Tamlen mod is one of my favourites (Jowan and Morrigan have great ones, and theres actually a face mod that made Leliana attractive).

i always get the impression that the PC Dalish is the stable one out of the two of them. the one who goes along with Tamlen's schemes and adventures a lot... part of the reason i liked him so much in fact... he made his choices... and stuck to them... although, thankfully you can make him let the Shems go, or let him kill them...and since either way the clan has to move, you may as well kill them... they are stupid shems after all...

I adored Tamlen, roleplaying-wise, my character was never the same after she found out he was corrupted. I KNEW HE COULD BE SAVED!

Curse Duncan for just leaving him..

They should have made him a recruit-able character.

Yea Duncans "effort" to find Tamlen was disappointing. Infact I was actually pretty pissed off and Alistair irritated me on his first "I love Duncan" rant.

Well I'm ganna start writing a novel on Tamlen tomorrow, he being th emain character. The plot so far is it'll being the day Tamlen finds the Shems, and the PC will come along, like the origin. It'll play along until the mirror, and will explain what happens to Tamlen in his point of view, since he's the main character. Eventually, he'll end up at the PCs camp again, as a darkspawn, but somehow he'll be cured. (Havent thought up that part yet). After that, it'll basically be Dragon Age with Tamlen in the party, as well as a lot of twists.

Ooh sounds interesting I was thinking about writing a little fanfic involving my dalish's feelings for him and her trying to get over it with... Leliana. I haven't gotten around it; I'm so busy/lazy.

tamlen and zevran? interesting... i think the whole "sex advice" banter with Tamlen would go significantly differently between Tam and Zev than it goes with Zev and Alistair...
