I'm not sure on how I would want it to end, a lot of my ideas on ending are bads ones. But I would like to see something a bit like Witcher's 2 ending showing a massive invasion force. May be with the Qunari at the end over the weakened state of Thedas after the devastation of the war and everything else that went on. Or the events of what happens in DAI could carry on over to DA4.

Dead Elves. Dead, rotting, desiccated, burning, eviscerated, disemboweled, dismembered, beheaded, violated, mutilated, desecrated, defiled, polluted, charred carcasses of Elf babies.

Now now, don't forget all the dead mages!

After fighting a mini boss, going into a chamber, there is an altar, place the sacred whatever thing on the altar....then cinematic video show a boss coming out, the Inquisitor and the companions fighting it, the monster die, cinematic video end...the end

That seems awfully anti-climatic.

Mages are cool. So are Templars.

Every problem in Thedas can be solved by dead elves.

But they automatically count as cool by being mages.

That should balance out as "Horribly maim them" or something like that.

In a way that actually involves all of your companions like Mass Effect 2. DA:O did it well with them all doing something, however it lacked that sense of personal worth that each character should have had. DA2 had them all participate in your boss battles but again lacked that something like they were there and that was it. Mass Effect one just had whoever you brought along. And Mass Effect 3 felt like a cop-out with the rest of them seemingly chilling on the Normandy.

I'd like it to end with the Inquisitor being badly injured, them walk up to a beam and be transported up by it. Then I want them to be contacted by a friend or acquantince where upon they are met by a secondary antagonist. After a conversation with this antagonist the friend/acquantince tells them that they are proud if them and then they die. The Inquisitor then collapses and is transported up by a floating platform and woken up by a mystical child of the fade. This fade child tells the Inquisitor that mages will always rebel against Templars and that the only way to stop is through one of three choices.
A: Control the mages
B: Synthesise the mages and Templars to form a new life form
C: Destroy the mages

There is no point fighting the end boss because we will win isn't it? So why not just show in the video and we watch...

Who says we'll win?

Actually, that would make for an epic post credits scene.

:o Love the idea of another Blight.

Yeah! I can even imagine how it would happen: After the credits roll, the scene suddenly switches to an giant dragon caged up inside an dungeon, and then the camera slowly pans away starting to show an massive horde of darkspawn visciously digging the ground in an attempt to reach the dragon.

How would you want them to end Dragon Age Inquistion? Do you see it being a positve ending or a horrible bad ending? As fans what do you not want to see? Now we still have a few months away from release, let your voices be heard!

I want the options for both.

I want there to be a possibility for the Inquisitor to get a Happily Ever After or to die horribly (since the game after DAI won't focus on the Inquisitor anyway)

And maybe options in between.

I wnat to see varying degrees of success and failure, and choices made affecting how the attempts get made (being pro-templar should let things unfold differently than pro-mage, for example)

I do not want to see another ME3 deal where no matter how much of a difference you made, you made no difference because YOU CANNOT WIN CONVENTIONALLY!!!! OH NOES!!! And you get stuck with three sucky choices no matter how much effort you put into the game.

When the final boss died, everybody looks with apprehension the tear but that stay open,

Oppressive Music of end included scrolling with all participants and Creator of games.

Final cinematic ......a chessboard, with some pièces of chessboard ( we see Alistair, his Father, Hawke, the Warden, the Inquisitor etc....) and in front of these pièces appear the final Boss and his minnions as chess piece.
The camara shows the both player: one is Flemmeth, the other is someone hidden by a Mexican hat :

the talking begins:

Flemmeth: I win, Please, close the tear , Creator. That is the deal!
Creator: I have one Word....
We see the tear disapears in all countries of Teldas and everybody is happy. We see Alistair in Ferelden, Hawke in Kirkwall etc...

Flemeth stands up to leave the Fade but the Creator stops her.
Why you are leaving. Milady, I appreciated this game! I believe I have something interresting as new deal to do another chessboard game.
What is ? asks Flemmeth.
The freedom of your brothers!
Appears on the chessboard instead of the big boss of DAI 6 big dragons.
and Flemmeth moves a pawn which we never saw. We see only his back from this charachter ........

To be continued

Who loose fighting the end boss? I never loose fighting any end boss in any games, if i loose fighting the end boss i don't finish the game....well, the build and the set up is reaching it's climax and make it a sure win situation...so why not just skip the fight and show it in a video instead?

By that rational, why have any fights at all in the game. I mean, we're just going to win each one on our way to the end of the game, so just show the whole game as one cut-scene after another. Image IPB

Instead of the tears being closed, the Veil just disappears in its entirety.

She'll be 100 feet tall, and shoot lasers out of her eyeballs! Image IPBImage IPB

Maybe with Varric and Bianca walking the down the aisle?

On a more serious note, how we play should impact the ending. If there are multiple ways to deal with the tears, those options should be available based on how you played, for example.

I want a definitive ending. DAO, Awakening and DA2 all had pretty unresolved endings. I want to see most, if not all arcs and threads be resolved.
