Srsly, give'em a break. They're drawing aggro so you don't get sync'ed. Why don't you go over and help them by killing the things surrounding them who aren't paying attention to you?

I don't walk backwards. It's too easy to trip over something you didn't see and fall down. Srsly, give'em a break. They're drawing aggro so you don't get sync'ed. Why don't you go over and help them by killing the things surrounding them who aren't paying attention to you?

Would b cool if you could walk backwards "Electric Boogie" style 
Edit - Have (with a few exeptions) only used the jugg when soloing (for the 10 extractions with the jugg). Did a lot of backwards walking then while shooting things in the process. Worked fine :-)

I also like to walk backwards with him simply because he moves faster that way (all kits do actually, but everyone else can run)

I walk sideways, circling enemies while firing is rather effective, and with the exception of brutes avoids getting hit by melee almost entirely

I have a confession: I'm HORRIBLE at playing the Juggernaut. I refuse to do a melee build because it's so boring, but I just can't seem to get the hang of playing him any other way. I can't stand the lack of mobility. If I get myself into a bad position, I can't seem to get out without using 2-3 gels or ops packs, and it seems to happen at least once every match I play with him. It's OK if I'm with decent players who can take advantage of the fact that the entire enemy force is converging on me, but in a PUG, you don't know what you're going to get until it's too late. I'm just going to give it up and play classes that are more fun.

Favourite technique, walking backwards, keeping distance using turret drops and assault rifle. Played like this its hard to fail on bronze and fairly easy on silver.

I walk backward with the juggernaut, but the banshee's 20 foot reach with her swipe still staggers the juggy more often than not. :/

I use the juggernaut as a very tall sniper. Ever put a Javelin on that thing? Brains everywhere.

Hybridize, Being melee build does not mean you have to melee, it means you can melee, and is great as a last ditch thing,
aside from that you need to learn how to dodge with him, you don't need to dodge small things, learn to avoid the large things, most bosses have melee he can easily dodge, only brutes do you want to put distance between, the rest of the bosses are terrible at using melee on properly played jug, and will stop using their more dangerous weapons to attempt to do so
