• Demons.
• Blood mages.

I don't see why one can't support both mages and Templars.  Personally, Varric says it all for me.

There is no option to support blood mages. They all suddenly attack Hawke to makes things easier. During the whole game no mage is blood mage in the moment Hawke helps them. So whenever you suport the Templars normal mages suffer for it. I'm not judging, you have eluded yourself that by helping Templars you are only fighting blood mages which is not true.

Here's the beauty of a fictional world: I can support both. I'm a gamer and this is a game. I see no gun to my head that says I can't support both. So I'm sticking with my views.

I can see both sides of the issue, after playing pro-Templar. Both sides have some valid points, and neither side is 100% wrong/right. I know some would argue, but that's how I see it.

I support Templars that protect mages and I support mages that avoid the easy way out. I support both groups that are caught in the middle between the implosion of the Circles as well as those Templars that aren't apart of the new Red Templar faction.

I had a thread a little while back called "Those Caught in the Middle." It's for those that aren't completely pro-Mage or pro-Templar, but can see the validity of both arguments.

So yes, I support both Templars and Mages. Of course, one day the rogues shall rule you all, but enjoy your delusion while it lasts. Mwhahahaha!

Leliana isn't hypocrite? best prove that she is is her talk after you romance with someone else where she attacks you how dear you play with her feelings just to her talking about manipulation of others and as long you will play with other feelings in order to get what you want she doesn't see that as wrong. WTF

About evil choices i hope for extremely selfish pt and not only choices grey vs grey morality but also from black morality.Let me become villain protagonist

Evil just for the sake of being evil never appealed to me. However playing a character who is willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish his goal, even if that means some pretty extreme things, has always been an interesting concept to me. Is that person "evil?" That is indeed subjective, which is why I don't like the term "evil choices".

Why?  That's a perfectly fine reason to roleplay.  "I want to play an evil/pragmatic character, so I'm going to pick the choices to go along with it."  

For many people, playing the "bad guy" is a very valid form of roleplaying.  Most people aren't bloodthirsty, greedy or whatever enough to be that way IRL.  I know people that do evil characters as a form of stress relief.

The only time I did an evil character was in NWN2.  That ending...yeah.  Never. Again.

Evil choices are good because sometimes people do evil things. They act out of hatred or anger or greed. Not everything is making tough choices for the greater good. Sometimes people are just jerks.

And having evil choices allows my nice characters to feel good for not taking them.

That just proves a corrupt class discrepancy, or the stupidity of templars.

My Mage Warden was a staunch Circle supporter. She grew up there and I've pictured her having a pretty good life until Jowan's mess started. My Hawkes are generally pro-Mage, but she (Hawke) is looking from the outside in.

My Mage Warden saw the Circle as a home, a family and a sanctuary. My Hawkes see the Circle is a prison, a hotbed of abuse and unnecessary. My Warden sees Templars as something to be respected and was protected well in the Circle Tower. Hawke looked around Kirkwall and saw a bunch of zealots.

That's part of the reason I, the actual player, am both pro-Mage and pro-Templar. My perceptions change depending upon which game I'm playing. I can really see both sides.

Plus, I think the events in Kirkwall are more of a result of "lovely" things like a giant Blood Rune and folks like Corypheus being stashed under the city. Having a haunted ancient elven cemetery nearby (as well as a trapped demon) probably didn't help things either.

• Merrill
• Orsino - I do not buy the BS about him not being a blood mage beforehand...the s.o.b. actively supported the blood mage who murders Hawk's mother.
• Grace & Alain - Sure Grace will attack you at first, but during the "Act of Mercy" quest there's no option to kill all the blood mages and when you try to turn them in Thrask intercedes to protect them.
• Idunna - You don't have to kill her.

Since you acknowledged you got this from Naruto Shippuden, minus a few things like it being the Inquisitor's LI and using a physical blade instead of a chakra blade, this scene is one of the prime reasons why Sasuke is my least favorite character in that series. They tried to make him a dark charactr, but he just comes off as a dick the entirety of both series. At least Karin was saved by Sakura healing her.
