You know, if the protagonist acted like it was for fun it would be much better, but the protagonist always seems pissed and angry and worked up when such choices are selected. If it's for fun, the protagonist should be all sarcastic and smile/laugh while slaughtering someone.

These threads are always so creepy.

Sure, if your protagonist is a psychopath. Nobody sane actually enjoys killing people. Who wants to play a psychopath?

If the Inquisitor isn't a psychopath, I sure hope they include the crippling post-traumatic stress disorder and flashback scenes.

Sarcastic Hawke was a psychopath already, you could joke about death of your mother or giving Fenris to slavery while making jokes. Agressive Hawke was worst, he killed first and asked questions later. Mage aggressive hawke is worse than Anders when Justice took over. Hawke promises Justice that together they will kill every last Templar.
Only diplomatic Hawke was 'normal'.

If you go full sarcasm on every single opportunity, yeah Hawke really starts to look pretty crazy, though I tend to try to use it when most appropriate. I don't even know what the sarcastic comment regarding Leandra entails, because it just seems so out of place I can never go with that. On that subject, I kind of wish that Hawke had a wider range of emotions regarding the death of his/her mother. It doesn't need to be excessively brooding and angry (like I most likely would have been), but it could be something more. Handing Fenris over to Danarius, however, is just straight evil.

The sarcastic route in Leandra's death he goes along the lines of "Oh...*eyes welling up* you know me, always saving the day" you can see he's trying his hardest not to burst into tears

is it my favourite response out of the three personality types

another line if you choose the sarcastic option during it if you bring that other guy with you, "Sorry to interrupt this student-teacher reunion, BUT WHERE IS MY MOTHER!?"

I always consider the dominant sarcastic hawke as a guy who's covering up how he really feels and ends up kinda like a sad clown, and everyone now and then that shell breaks, like with his mother's death and carver/bethany related situations

least thats how i always interpreted it. ;)
