Those actually look pretty decent, I thought they were as crappy as ME2's ones. I might just get this.

As always. I want to support Bioware and not pirate the DLC like I'm sure many people did, but it"s kinda hard to resist when we PC players always get the short end of the stick.

The appearance pack is dope. Totally worth a buck or two. Garrus gets a bad ass outfit that resembles Terminus armor. Liara's looks inspired by Benezia, minus Matriarchal head dress. Very fitting of a Shadow Broker. EDI finally gets tactical gear.

Oh, for any of you who don't really play with helmets on, you should totally try it out if you purchase the appearance pack. Garrus looks like a damn space gladiator. Like a cross between the king of the nasgul (LotR) and a cylon (BSG).

Just a couple of quick questions:

1: Are the outfits in the alternate appearance pack all different from those received elsewhere (ie collector's edition/from ashes)? Also, any ideas as to the bonuses they grant?

2: Does the Genesis 2 dlc cause any glitches/problems with the main game? I vaguely recall some problems being mentioned when the dlc was first released.

I'm picking up citadel for a certainty, but currently have £3 credit from old MS points. For some reason the store won't allow you to part-pay for purchases with credit before debiting a card/paypal account, so I've got credit spare for a few odds-and-ends that I wouldn't normally bother with.

Finally, thanks for the heads up OP. I've been waiting for citadel to go on sale for quite a while now.

The outfits in the appearance pack are all new. No duplicates from the Collectors Edition or anything.

Too bad I can't take part since I already got all the DLC's in 3, oh well, no loss. That Citadel price is a steal!

That Alternate Appearance pack still makes me wonder why it was called Alternate Appearance Pack 1 if they never made a second one... I know I'm in the minority, but I like alternate armor for my squad (and for me).

Yeah I was really hoping to get another appearance pack for the rest of the squad. I like changing them up for certain missions. I was hoping to get another one for Tali. I really liked the direction they went with her outfits this time around. And Javik only has 2.

But, I guess I should be happy that my favorite squadmate has 5 outfits. Say what you will about exclusive preorders and collectors editions. I hate shelling out an extra $30 for so-called exclusive gear, and then seeing it for sale in a weapons/outfits DLC pack 3 months later. If I pay extra for Collectors Edition stuff. It should remain Collectors Edition stuff.

I think Bioware handled that much right with ME3. The Collectors Edition content is some of the best in the game, and it pretty much remained exclusive to Collectors Edition owners (all the outfits did, I know a few guns came out in the weapons packs and DLCs)

none of the weapons came out as DLC other than pre-order bonuses. The collector's edition weapons are still exclusive

Yep, unfortunately the N7 weapons are still exclusive to the editions they come from. If you get N7 Collector's Edition, you get all of them. PC people are very lucky since their version is infinite while console ones are pretty rare...

The alternate Collector Edition squad outfits are pretty much impossible to get without the Collectors edition, but the N7 weapons are really easy to unlock with Gibbed, same with the N7 Hoodie and Robotic Dog, not that I advocate doing that though, I'm just saying.

I'm glad the Collectors Edition outfits are only available for Collectors Edition owners. That's the way it should be. If I spend almost double the price in order to get a Collectors Edition with all the exclusive content that comes with it, then that content should remain exclusive. It shouldn't be released as $5 DLC to everyone 3 months later.

Bio shouldn't sell the stuff to anyone else because then your edition won't be special anymore?
