Ashley looks fitting in the CE red suit. Good design.

/offtopic

I just wish I could get ME2 Terminus armor for my 360 :\\ I've got every other DLC I want.

I use all three of these armors :) Especially for Garrus and EDI!

Other than the skirt element, I like Ashley's CE armor. However, it isn't really strong looking enough (even for an 'officer/Spectre').
Honestly, I just like the White and Red look. I need to look for a mod that changes the color of her heavier armor! She's more of a natural in red imo ;)

Sick of their armor strategy in this trilogy though. If the next game doesn't have mixing and matching of pieces (general and unique-to-character/species ones), I'll be quite disappointed. BW could get on just fine with armor piece DLC instead of full outfits, which just... annoy an perplex (for immersion).

I'm glad the Collectors Edition outfits are only available for Collectors Edition owners. That's the way it should be. If I spend almost double the price in order to get a Collectors Edition with all the exclusive content that comes with it, then that content should remain exclusive. It shouldn't be released as $5 DLC to everyone 3 months later.

Bio shouldn't sell the stuff to anyone else because then your edition won't be special anymore?

has nothing to do with such selfishness. Has to do with principle. If your Collectors Edition is $80, and your justification for the high price is the inclusion of exclusive content, yet you release that same content for a measly $5 after the game comes out ......well us Collectors just paid $25 extra for no reason at all.

I don't think many people care about not being able to get those alternate squad outfits though, the CE weapons and the N7 Hoodie are the more sought after and they can easily give themselves those.

that's fine. Everybody has their preferences. For instance, I prefer alternate attire for squadmates over Weapons Packs. I hardly wear the N7 hoodie.

I was simply stating that I like the way Bioware handled it. It's good to see a dev that still knows the meaning of "exclusive". Most have forgotten. But they'll still take your money.

are the typhoon and piranha beasts in campaign? im debating between the groundside pack and alt appearance pack

Already have citadel, and have a random $1.50 on my MS account i may as well use

The Piranha kicks butt at short, short range. Good gun for a Vanguard. I don't like the Typhoon for Shepard, but give it to your squadmates and they will tear things apart. (Which may be going too far, since you may start complaining that they are stealing your kills.)

Citadel DLC is a bargain, I highly recommend it for anyone who has yet to experience it.

Omega's amazing man. Combat, combat and more combat, I loved it. Due to the Mechs having armour protection it was the perfect place for my pyromancer Vanguard, Fire Explosions galore. The final battle seqence in Afterlife is intense on Insanity. I do not regret dropping £10 on the DLC at all, I wouldn't have used the money for anything better anyway.

Don't bother selling it to him. He doesn't like Aria.

Watching someone else play always sucks, unless it's Titanfall, it's way more fun when you play it yourself.

That's idiotic. People paid $60 for a standard edition on release. I got mine for $25. They paid $35 extra for no reason at all?

Aria is the least important part of that pack.  The Flare power is far more important.  That power is ridiculous.

Omega is certainly worth half its asking price, which is what I ended up paying.

I'd feel a little let down at the value for $10 (considering the bland story, the lack of polish, and absence of familiar squad members), but its role-playing elements and level design would still win me over, along with getting to experience Nyreen and non-indoctrinated Petrovsky.

It's definitely not worth $15.

Barring a few little missteps, the alternate appearance pack is worth a buck just for EDI's more tactical revamp.

Those actually look pretty decent, I thought they were as crappy as ME2's ones. I might just get this.

Ah, didn't see anyone commenting on this:

Shepard also has a new Armor. Cerberus Ajax Armor.

Pressedcat wrote...

Just a couple of quick questions:

1:
Are the outfits in the alternate appearance pack all different from
those received elsewhere (ie collector's edition/from ashes)? Also, any
ideas as to the bonuses they grant?

Yep. They're different.

Bonuses:

EDI: Power Recharge Speed +25%
Garrus: Shields +25%
Liara: Power Damage +25%

Cerberus Ajax Armor for Shepard that also comes in the pack:

Ammo Capacity: +25%
Weapon Damage +10%
Power Damage +10%
Shield Regen Speed +10%
Shields +25%

I do think so... Same as MP, but a little buffed

SilJeff wrote...

That
Alternate Appearance pack still makes me wonder why it was called
Alternate Appearance Pack 1 if they never made a second one... I know
I'm in the minority, but I like alternate armor for my squad (and for
me).

It was rumored that since almost everyone disliked it(because of Shepard's Cerberus Armor), Bioware only released this one.

Daemul wrote...

The alternate Collector Edition squad
outfits are pretty much impossible to get without the Collectors
edition, but the N7 weapons are really easy to unlock with Gibbed, same
with the N7 Hoodie and Robotic Dog, not that I advocate doing that
though, I'm just saying.

Huh, strange... I can only unlock the N7 Hoodie... Using it now :P

Since I have every single one of them, I recomend getting them all, if you like the MP Weapons (Cerberus Harrier, Typhoon, Piranha...)

Can't pass off on flare! BOOM BOOM! Sadly, I did pay $14.99 for it when it first came out, but whatever! I wanted my ME3 experience to be super f'ing long!

As I recall, it had more to do with EA's decision that support for ME3 would be cut off at exactly one year, corresponding with the day Citadel was released. Devs teased it before Citadel, but as I recall from a statement right after Citadel was released, they weren't able to finish it before support was ordered ended and were forced to abandon it, 90% finished.

Before I forget, a warning for those on Xbox taking advantage of the Citadel price cut, the 2 parts are mislabelled. Part 1 of 2(the one you have to pay for) is labelled part 2 of 2 on the HDD and part 2 of 2(the free one) is labelled part 1 of 2 on the HDD. So when you download part 1 of 2 from the marketplace and you see it labelled as 2 of 2 in your hard drive don't worry, just download part 2 of 2 from the marketplace, which will be labelled as part 1 of 2 in your hard drive, and the DLC will work fine.
