They made this section of the forum so early because we wouldn't stop going on and on and on about DA3 in the DA2 forums. I don't think driving us back over there would be a good idea.

You could always leave and come back later? (I don't mean that in an unfriendly way, but if the entire subforum is borning you ...)

The forced lines about Swooping Still Being Bad from Alastair were cringeworthy.

Wasn't that funny in the first place, was very very old, and just reminded me that BW are ****s for fan service.

It's these downtimes of no DA material that spawn things like this. If we had, heck, even filler comics, DLC, films, or the like, it would cut down on the redundant speculations and questions.

I think it would also be funny if BioWare made jokes in which they're making fun of themselves. Like the reused locations in DAII and also the ending to ME3 for example.

Varic could be telling the end of a story that's identical to that of ME3 and the companions either complain or argue amongst themselves about how good or bad Varric's ending is and him stating he'll "come up with something better to please everyone". Maybe even reference the Indoctrination Theory

Right. I'm just looking for moderation. I'm sure the forum mods get tired of having to sort through "So what color are you going to choose for your Inquisitor's eyes?" threads. Very rarely do I see a thread that picks my interest inthe slightest.

Yeah.  They've already done this before.  Not really a fan of meta humor myself, but one or two jokes don't seem that bad.  At least don't make jokes though that still heavily apply to the current game like Hawke joking about Ferelden being really brown while Dragon Age II wasn't that big of a difference on that aspect.

Please, nothing overt. There was way too much of that in DA2. I don't mind the occasional wink at the camera, but I don't like it when the character says "I'm going to wink at the camera now, nudge, nudge" first. The worst offenders were the Talkative Man in the Hanged Man and Sarcastic Hawke.

That said, if the party ever has to return to a previously visited location and somebody asks Varric, "Haven't we been here before?" and Varric replies with "I don't know. It all looks the same to me," I would probably laugh.
