That's not working. Whatever problem this is, goes deeper than when it just occasionally happened every great once and a while.

On topic, yes, everyone is seeing this across all three platforms (Xbox, PS3, PC) and it seems to be affecting the alternate banners and weekend operation banners. It just started a day or two ago.

Nobody knows why this has happened or how to fix it.

Actually encountered it about a month ago - but only for a short period of time and only with a couple of banners. Seems to be back in force in the last couple of days though - every alt and weekend ops banner.

I saw this one 2 days ago... Didn't know what that was... Tought it was a custom-made banner. Then they said me it was a Bug

Original banners are stored in the DLC files. Weekend, alternate, Reckoning, and BOTB banners reference a file on the EA servers. That's why they often take longer to show up on screen. That file is obviously missing, producing a broken link.


Weird question related to this...

Until last night I was using an alternate Dog of War and therefore had the Rainbow Brite Mastery banner. Between the two nights, when trying to host a match, I got the "lost connection to Mass Effect servers" 6 consecutive times. It happened every single time I tried to host. I was still able to join other hosts' matches.

On a hunch, I changed to a standard banner, and was able to host every time without problem.

Any connection there? Think there could be an error caused by having a banner file link broken that causes the EA server to reject you as host?

yes, I have never seen this bad before. when something like this happens, I suggested the solution above.

it was a quick fix. this rainbow banner happens when servers get hiccup that causes images to load incorrectly. apparently that servers for our ME3MP are hiccupping a lot since a next day ago.

I'm gonna bet that server maintenance was needed. but don't know the eta that this will be fixed for everybody here.
so I'm praying for our players here

I can't use my N7 Banner from N7 day =( all it does is rainbow img in middle it happens to me on PS3 as well on PC too... I believe a restart of the servers maybe would cure the missing img prob it was kinda neet but now I want my N7 banner >_<
