Yeah sorry, forgot about that. Only sensible reason to ever spec out of that power...
I wish consoles could get around it.
First thing I'm going to do on my PC account is mod my coalesced to fix the HM overlay, and then I'm going to find out what all this GT/GI fuss is about.

66660 best GT, slap a Javelin, Claymoar, Raider etc. and destroy stuff.
5 in fortification and 3 in fitness is mathematically better, though. But they're very similar, yeah.

But if you are building a pure flamer build, HM is not nearly as effective .. I don't need HM to tell me where the enemies are, and the full fitness combined with %40 damage reduction from fortification allows me to stand in front of enemies without soft cover and melt them into the ground

Hahaha!
By the way, I have the normal HM overlay and I run every single character without grenades with either HM or the scanner. No problems for me

I've tried all kinds of builds on this guy, this is easymode supreme.
And I will never spec out of HM 6A.

@Deerber & Dida - I agree that if you are setting your GT up as a full (or partial) weapons platform, then you need to take HM. Obviously it is one of the top few weapon kit powers in this game (in the upper echelon with TC, adrenaline rush & MM)
But if you are building a pure flamer build, HM is not nearly as effective .. I don't need HM to tell me where the enemies are, and the full fitness combined with %40 damage reduction from fortification allows me to stand in front of enemies without soft cover and melt them into the ground
That's just like your opinion and preference.

Gah... The good old GT debate, it's always the same. Yes, if you want to only maximize the effectiveness of flamer then no HM + power amp is going to be better.
Why'd you want to completely forget your weapons and only use the flamer though, is beyond me... Maybe people are afraid the kit would be too effective while using both at once XD
However, whatever floats your boat. You have more fun only using the flamer then you should do just that. I was merely speaking from an effectiveness point of view...

Not speccing fully into HM whenever possible was punishable by death in the empire.
If you can't deal with the squishiness, equip a cyclonic and enjoy being almost as tanky as a proguard.

I always find it amusing to go back and watch videos from when I'm playing a geth because on objective waves, you'll sometimes see me look around randomly and awkwardly for several moments before actually doing anything.
Yeah, that would be those moments where I'm having a hard time seeing the blue objective outline against all the blue friggin' lines on my screen.

Second this. 100% of people who complain about flamer are just lazy- bothered by the sound? Your TV has a volume control. Can't see? Take two steps to your right. Or your left. Or backwards. Or any direction. It's not that hard.Jeremiah12LGeek wrote...
I never have the problems that other people seem to.
If a PuG is good enough to actually be at the spawn at the same time, they usually know how to use Flamer. If they're not... then I generally won't see much flame action, since they'll be lagging behind.
I typically ignore the silly anti-flamer comments and do my thing. If a flamer user is proving to be a problem... I move slightly. Then it's not a problem. Seems easy enough.

Are you mentioning vindaloo because you said "curries" or because we're talking about Flamer? About 12 hours after I eat vindaloo, I am usually spamming Flamer with a 15-minute cooldown.Jeremiah12LGeek wrote...
